They should take Discovery HD instead of FX HD...
I think most of the program of FX HD are upscale version, since it has pillarbox on it.
But the PQ are very good... even it's upscale one... blush.gif

BTW, my installer only change the new LNB. The LNB looks slightly bigger and have 2 connector on it. Now, I have 2 wires lying in my living hall... tongue.gif
He did not change the dish...

Just wanna ask, anyone here know how to play in Slow motion mode on Byond PVR??

According to B.yond PVR latest FAQ :

"Slow motion mode
This feature allows you to play scenes in slow motion at 1/10x, 1/4x and 1/2x mode."

But unfortunately, I didn't find any button to play in slow motion.... sad.gif

And some more, slow motion play on B.yond PVR are more better than Max....
I still remember when I using Max, when I doing slow motion play, my Max will frequently switch automatically to standby mode.... sweat.gif

BTW, I'm just subscribing to Dynasty package, and PQ and DD 5.1 effect on ZHI ZUN HD was SUPERB!! Even I actually didn't understand Cantonese/Mandarin, but i really impress with the ZHI ZUN HD.... Good job Astro!

The drawback is, there are no subtitles and the program on ZHI ZUN HD are frequently repeat....

3) Astro should enable the PVR user to Manually record the shows. This function is available on Max, I can record the shows that is not available on the EPG.

4) Don't ask for user confirmation when changing channel.., gosh.. it's a bit annoying....

Hopefully Talljustin can hear our feedback and improve it with future firmware update... icon_rolleyes.gif

Hmm... I also think that's quiet unfair for Astro to impose recording fees to us. We're not recording show everyday. Like today, I didn't set my PVR to record anything. But we still need to pay RM10 monthly. Plus RM20 for HD some more... haish..... sad.gif But when I see Starhub website, in Singapore, they also need to pay monthly rental for Hubstation HD PVR..... But what can I say more, I don't have any choice, myself and my family not the type of person who always stay in front of TV 24x7... so we really need a PVR. I also have one little brother who will be taking PMR examination this year. And, he busying go to tuition everyday, and only have time to watch TV in weekends, so, again, PVR is the solution for my family. rolleyes.gif

probably it's due to transition from Dolby Digital to Stereo hmm.gif
When I tune to Nat Geo HD, on certain program, when advertisement comes, suddenly my HTiB front panel display shows 5CHL STEREO.
I donno that's Astro problem or my HTiB itself....

Not at all, option to record channel while watching other channel only available if u change to B.yond PVR....

It's due to B.yond PVR have 2 tuners, while normal B.yond only have single tuner....

For Normal B.yond, u only can record the channel that you're currently watching and watch another program that already recorded to your HDD...
