anyone successfully opened the account , how long it takes for the online banking PIN to be sent to you? maybank sg sent the letter 1 month + ago , but until now i still have not got it? should i check with pos malaysia?
In my case with Maybank SG iSavvy, all the letters are sent together (and also received) at once.
The banking PIN letter (hereinafter, "PIN" letter) is special compared to other letters in that it is sent in a
more secured manner, which means the postman cannot just drop the letter in your mailbox like all other letters (including access code, debit card etc.) and leave. The postman needs to
ensure you are at home and you need to sign off the letter which contains the PIN code
in person.
What happened to me was that I was not at home when the postman arrived. So I found a notification card from the post office asking me to visit the nearby post office to receive the letter and sign it off in person, which I did.

So, to summarize, try check if you have a notification card to receive a parcel/letter in person in the nearby post office. That could be an indicator of the "PIN" letter.
For your info, (at least in my case) the "PIN" letter will have your name printed on it together with your house address. It is also a registered air mail (you will see the red words "REGISTERED" stamped on it, together with the blue registration number sticker label and a white bar code beneath it.)
Hope that helps.
