good for those who doesnt have. why do we need to courier the documents to singapore when everything can be done online. i think some even had to pay rm20 for the courier fees.

Hmm from my experience, the courier fees are borne by them. Last time when I opened (before pandemic), I just brought all supporting documents with me and visited the designated branch, handed over the form and gave them my electronic thumbprint record. I guess thumbpring record was not needed in the end.

Anyway, they will mail to you the debit card, access codes and some complimentary stuffs by courier if the account is opened successfully.

I think courier fee is covered by bank cause I was not told to pay any when I submitted my application last month.
