Wow their rate is pretty competitive. Is Instarem the best way to transfer money back to MY? Currently I am using DBS.

Best one is do during office hours..I noticed at RM12-13k, BigPay is cheaper.

Topup BigPay using credit card. Then transfer to SG bank account. You can't transfer if amount inside bigpay less than what you want transfer.

No. Never tried yet. No money to try. Have some big damage this this month. Maybe next month or collect until RM20k to minimise the fees.

Anyway nothing to buy yet. So keep in OCBC 360 and earn 4.1%p.a for the time being.

Oh ok, currently only can top up BP using credit/debit card right? Wonder if it is OK to top up 30k per month using credit card into BP, then pay off the card, and transfer the amount to Sg? Credit card side will be like very weird.. keep got big amount used to top up BP and then paid up.... is it OK?? Like doing some illegal stuff... lol

You can only use cc to topup max RM10k/month.

I guess the rest has to use debit card? Still a good way to transfer money overseas slowly at low frictional cost..

Ah just realised I used the wrong currency. Supposed to be in SGD1,800 and SGD2,000 only correct.
The other day when I checked the rates, both were VERY close for SGD2,000, in fact BP was cheaper after including the RM8 transfer fee.
Looks like need to really compare both daily first before transfer. But for the mean time cannot wait anymore as SGD keeps increasing. Bloody losing opportunity now for idling.

cc top up limit is RM10k per month only. So other top up needs to be from debit cards.

No. Forex rate sucks. Got issue if you want to buy stocks like Manulife and keppel Pacific.

The only place it beats DBS is bigger access to other markets and it don't come with custodian fees. Then again I have IBKR for it which have shown is light years ahead of what standard chartered can offer me.

for the CIMB SG Fastsaver acc, I've transferred SGD1k to this acc from CIMB MY.

How can I access this fund? I mean, how can I transfer money from CIMB SG to elsewhere? Don't I get any username or password to access cimbclicks SG?
