Ouch! its M15x! hehehe sorry sorry i think worth it la

I notice something when compare my M15x running on i7 720, to M17x running on T9600@3.1ghz , the i7 just not as smooth as my t9600 when i browsing inside my computer files. Stealth mode is off.

actually is not the same one..
usually most cooler concentrates at the middle of the laptop..
but my m15x fans are at the back..both left and right side..
so better if ventilation runs through there than blowing into the plastic cover in the middle of the laptop..
right?

did you ever checked if you HTT is fully utilized using normal usage?

you can check it through Task Manager mate

EDIT and ADD : both M15x and M17x using 7.2k RPM HDD right?

Well.. you're having ur T9600 running dual-cores@3.1GHz surely would feel faster compared to the i7-720QM which at dual-core should be about 2.4GHz.
