can the rm4999 alienware aurora desktop put in dual 5870?
cuz the website only offers single 5870, and dual 5670.

if i wanna add in another 5870, can onot? hehe.. noob question =x

isit possible for dual 5870 for socket 1156 motherboard?

actually yes... I've seen the actual one in HK recently... the basic Aurora they hav 260 on SLI and i7-920.. so if can SLI deffo can Crossfire~ hope this helps~ nod.gif

but if put i7 920 wont bottleneck the performance? since its not using 1366 socket.

customize? i mean use the basic specs, i wanna upgrade to dual 5870. thats my main concern.. not about the proc.. wif socket 1156 punya specs.. rm4999, then buy my own dual 5870 and upgrade my own

i7 920... already over the reach of many ppl already.. sweat.gif

X58 chipset supports both CF (natively) and SLI (provided NV endorses it)...

there's no X55 but there's P55...

same thing as X58... native support for CF, and requires NV approval for SLI...
