Yes, that's true, but that's overkill ^^ i do not need an alienware...as i do not super super game...i just like to play some games and watch movies and do some internetting, chatting, etc
So I just prefer a good graphic card like ati 5650 and for cpu i5

Then its Lenovo Y460 for you then

Intel Core i5 540M + ATi HD5650 @RM3599 ...this would satisfy your need

Others would be :

Asus N82Jv, i5 520M + GT335M @RM3999

Sony VAIO EA16, i5 520M + HD5650 @RM3999

if budget unlimited i will choose a OEM and request them design a special laptop only available by me !!

for gaming purpose.. better go for Dell Alienware 17x / 15x .. or Asus G51vx[available in Malaysia].. since you doesnt matter about the budget..

dnt forget about sager which is cheaper ~

but dunno about warranty services and customer service

acer recently hving a great improve in their service and quality control. If wanna 5650 from acer buy in singapore and the warranty can be claim in here !! acer extensa quality good !
Hp service center not bad too. I had change my harddisc and LCD panel ~ they even help me change thermal paste ! hp dv6 ...

Added on June 6, 2010, 11:59 am4820TG is i5 430M + HD5470 @RM2999...a TimelineX Series, stylist design and slimmer than 5471G....as for 5471G, a better performance compared to 4820TG i guess and bigger screen...

Yup, 5471G is better in terms of performance compared to 4820TG

1. Brand: Dell or Asus or any nice brand
2. Budget: Below 3K
3. Specs: At least 2GB ram,good graphic card,can play decent games(CoDs,Dragonica,etc) and do assignment(college student btw )
4. Size: Not bulky and heavy
