Well, smaller notebook would be easier to bring around..
If you want one with similar performance and also can get longer battery life, consider Acer 4745G, i5 430M + ATi HD5470/GMA HD@RM2699 because it got switchable graphics card which can have both performance and battery life... |

Graphic card performance wise

No, graphic model, memory type, etc is more important
e.g. 9600M GT DDR2 1GB lose a lot compared to 9600M GT GDDR3 256MB.... |

Nah, nothing special about the graphic card, just some extra name...
Simiar spec with the Dell Vostro 3700, you can consider Acer 5745G, 15.6'', i7 720QM + Nvidia GT330M@RM3799 |

1. Acer, it has 1 year traveller's international warranty, so it only works if you are only travelling with no intention to reside there...
