I wonder can we use 5w40 full-syn oil on persona elegance?
i read the manual it said suggest to use 20w50, and will woid warrenty if use spec below this.

it is just a suggestion.should be OK.i am using one.

SC changed it, or you changed it outside?

Almost 9 months.I got it changed outside.

roundedfly you can directly complain your case directly to Proton MD...My SA told me that MD got email that we can sent directly our complain... but as my H line Persona Elegance works fine ..I did't ask the MD email ...just one back power window silly problem ...will chance it once i do my 1k service. ...

after 24 hours replaced my front power window, the klok klok sound came back again. i'm speechless, after replacing one regulator and two power window motor the problem still there. really dunno what should i do for the next step

before this my SA tell me that Hline production is the lower ratio compare with m & b line.... that why i got late... but since their commitment to deliver to me max 2 months ...i keep chasing & give pressure to my SA.... so far i only saw t black on the road ...

i still hvnt get the car yet. i booked 21/3/2010, chiffon green h-line, but till now, no news at all.

I wonder if the H-line or SE, can change the cruise control to the adaptive one like the latest BMW has.

So at least when cruising down the highway, the car will adjust to the car in front. Tahu la, in Malaysia right lane is the slow lane for some people.

2nd i will take to my fren intro de chinese proton edar workshop to check all my problem,...i dowana go back to that HQ anymore.it make me feel unsafe and dono wat would they do to my car coz they already busuk muka when i complaint and ask them fix watevery from that accident ....and they wan me to leave my car there around 1-3 weeks ..or mayb longer... ok..nevermind...take it as lesson..if i could sell this off ..haiz....

Well.. almost same as mine.. I booked mine at around early Apr.. 1st batch of H-line arrive on 6th May, my name was in it but incorrect color.. so have to wait again.. now still waiting..

after reading about elegance post here seem this car like under market test for new ecu...
i already put in my head to let go my 2002 waja and buy this persona elegance H line...
but now need to rethink again my decission....

did u guys think now its not a good time to buy elegance due ecu and brake problem?

izzit true about ecu n brake problem?
i own elegance. no problem so far on ecu n brake.
mine is B-Line auto.
in my opinion, brake power a bit poor probably due to rear drum brake.
everything is okay just driver power window got sound when wind down n up.

Brake problem will only occur on m-line and h-line.
Because it is ABS control problem on new ECU.

If you having b-line, then you are safe.
