For those who want to buy Persona and get more rebate and stuff, you can try to survey those "Proton wakil jualan" rather than those "Proton Edar" shops.

Try your best to bargain things that you wanted... like going to market to bargain... same as here, you can bargain with the SA and try to get as much as you can get. This is a win win solution, you willing to ask and they willing to give. Don't buta buta buy a car without asking anything. Go to as many showroom as possible to ask around the best deal that you can get...

my problem is,
when i accelerate to overtake fully pedal 60-120kmh and then constant, after that i will smell something burning.
smell like oil engine burning. dunno how to describe.
already sent to SC to check. they said no leaking.

one more thing, the sound of 'geez.. geez.. ' on aircond behind dashboard is normal like SC said to me. its the valve release aircon stuff. dunno what is called.

and there is small sound behind meter panel if u hear it silently 'trrrrrrrr' very slow sound. dunno what it is.. huhuhu.

and lastly, my power window on driver side got a sound 'grut grut grut' when i wind up and down.. haiyoo..

do u guys notice that? u guys have similar symptom?
need to wait 5k service to check all the sound things..

Lets put it this way. If you are a person who goes to work 9 to 5 & back like me, it should not be a problem. Other wise, you should have opted for something smaller, say a Myvi or Viva which in my opinion are girlie cars. Persona's more of a guys' car. Top speed - 180Kmph one way to heaven for a 50K+ car. Where else can you find a bargain like this. Remember it is a solidly built 1.6 litre car. Not a tin can 1.5 litre Iswara. Don't waste precious time cracking your head doing all those penny saving fuel consumption calculus.

Did you heard that price for fuel is increasing to 2.60 year by year?? Thats not a small figure if you count properly... After add on maybe you can buy another viva.. If i really find a fuel saving car, the new city is the best choice..

- never happen, but got sound from front “gi gi gi” when your car speed at 120km/h around 5 min – 10 min then slow down the car speed to 80 km/h – 90km/h (without brake)
