There are many choice resort and chalet at Perhentian island . Well depends on your budget and what type of accommodation you want. Example,I recommended you to stay at Bubu Long Beach Perhentian kecil ...Lots tourist from Europe staying here. I been stayed here 2 night...well its worth it. smile.gif . You also can stay at Shari La Island Resort..recommended.

Also recommended The Reef and NewCocohuts at Perhentian Besar .

Well many choice to stay at Perhentian Island. Depends how much money you want to spend.

I not prefer Flora Bay coz they will charge additional for the WIFI. Some more WIFI signal not strong if you're inside bedroom

I stayed at Bubu Resort the last time I went. Not bad, just that the breakfast, lunch and dinner were the same except for the last night I was there where we had BBQ seafood.

Guys im torn between redang and perhentian, 3D2N stay.
For perhentian besar, recommend me a good villa/resort for couple with clean beach view. Budget about 3-500 per night

This one is quite new and looks really good too. Not sure about the price per night. But with your budget, it's on the above average side already.

Alunan last time I check 1.2k pernight, and it's in perhentian kecil.

If besar, can try carver cove, flora resort, the reef. Within than range too, unless that 3-500 is usd.

fix : that 1.2k is family room.

Mama chalets.. nice, clean, quiet and reasonably priced chalets. Suitable for family stay...but the beach so-so only.

i stayed cozy chalet, it's pretty crap and old. not properly maintained. that area is more for family, beach is crap, food is crap.

april 2015, i chose alunan when it was still new, facilities are pretty neat. prices affordable and food is surprisingly good for island standards. the beach is not as nice as compared to long beach area but rooms are very comfortable. it's more private for those who doesn't want to party. i don't mind actually, going back again to alunan.

Guys, I'm planning to go Pulau Perhentian with my parents next month(3 of us) but after reading about it here, I have more questions than answers haha. So I need some recommendations from you guys on where to stay. Here's a little info

Pax : 3
Budget : RM 600/Pax
stay period : 3 days 2 nights
Snorkeling : I prefer shark point & Pulau Rawa
Location : Pulau perhentian or Kecil ( I'm fine with both)

Might want to head to Perhentian Besar if you are with parents.
Try Abdul's Chalet. Rooms were spacious and pretty decent for the price paid when I was staying there in 2013.
