I would recommend you stay at Flora Bay Resort Perhentian Besar ,since they have available rooms during that period. But I`m strongly recommend you stay at Abdul Chalet but their rooms are fully booked June and July 2010. Dive rates around RM60 to RM80 per dive,but depends how many dive you want.

Just came back from perhentian.... omg the chalet in symphony really sucks .... so dirty and smelly the place is seriously run down ... i manage to get a fan room with attached bathroom, the bathroom is so so dirty and the pillow case is black in color and the smell ..the ceiling of the room looks as if it is going to fall down anytime...end up we went around to look for another chalet... we found 1 with a/c and attached bathroom electric 24/7.. and the place super clean... and its only rm70 for 2 nights.... having symphony around really spoil the image of the island....

Anyone know how much now for the land transfer from airport to Kuala besut?

Beucase we have been quoted by resort that two ways charge RM70 per person, we are 4 people...

i've been doing some research on the boats to & from the island.
There are boats which departs hourly to the island, correct?
And returning from the island is it true that it's fixed at 8am, 12pm & 4pm?
On another note, I just remembered that East coast weekends are different from here Gonna have to pay more for my accommodation d. I'm gonna walk in a find one of the budget places

My flight time is the same as yours, I can take the 4pm boat out if I'm feeling crazy, reach the airport ngam ngam But don't think I will want to do that

from what i heard, AA does not refund any airport tax/fees that is applied to domestic destination.

International destination yes! but it probably take about 2 weeks for all the process and procedure.

I'm planning to visit Perhentian later this year with my girl. I'm looking for a affordable place with good sunset view actually. And I ended up with Shari-la and Abdul's Chalet. They're both affordable. So, between those 2, which one has better view? Or any other recommended places?

By the way, she's not a fan of snorkeling. We just want to chill over there. Are there any packages without snorkeling in it....?

I heard stories if we travel in couple or small group ( more girls) , the beach boys will kacau the girls or start a fight..
