No shop or grocery at Perhentian Island Resort . If you stay at TunaBay Resort, there are plenty of shop ..nearest is Suhaila ..and Abdul Chalet. Hi guys, I'll be traveling to Perhentian next 2 days. Still deciding which place is the best to stay. Prefer quiet and clean beach. Budget would be RM150 per night. Anyone here can enlighten me ?

If Kecik, can go for Coral Bay beach. It's quiet and you can walk over to Long Beach for partying at night. Otherwise, can just head straight to Besar for a quiet and peaceful beach. Besar is cheaper too.

Can try Abdul Chalet, it's one of the good value for money ones. As for soft beach or not, if you ask me, nothing compares to Redang. I guess Long Beach is not too bad, but it's no where near quiet and clean there.

East coast all monsoon. Tioman is open but it's monsoon season. Better you go East Malaysia or Thailand or Indonesia or Philippines.
