Just get a cheap 1073DD+ player, it fufills your requirements except for 3. BD Java/menu

i agree... just get a reasonable one that can fulfill ur requirements...

His requirement not only BD Java/Menu but also bitstream HD Audio (TrueHD and DTS-MA , not downmix). Realtek 1073DD can do that?

btw, u miss out the "+" , 1073+ & 1283+ is for bitstreaming HD audio

Thats y i mentioned in bracket "at least for sometime"...not forever , like mentioned by Ngto...i need it for lossless audio too...wonder if Realtek chip based players can do that as of now , anyway thanks for the inputs guys...still doing my homework

Don't recommend unless it can bitstream now. I already told him before to wait another month to see about the new Realtek chips. Their current FW still no bitstream yet. If they cheat before they can cheat again.

if budget is not a concern , stick to dune prime then
