I wonder if they delivery date is accurate ? Cause it shows that they are delivering to me next week and next week I might not be at home sweat.gif

I still haven't got my Streamyx Zone ID... Do I need to call TM or just use the default ID/Password? I wonder anyone who didn't receive the e-mail has tried the default id/pass and confirm that it's working already ?

I have a problem here:

1. I currently have a old streamyx (512kbps) line which I want to cut, but with a 2 year contract, and the contract haven expire yet. I have to pay rm65 monthly.

2. I'm now using a 2mbps Uni Pack line, which I think more worthy because I pay rm83 monthly with a free netbook.

The problem is if I cut the old line, there is a penalty of rm600+ (correct me if I'm wrong). Can I just neglect the old line payment and let the telekom cut the old line itself?

Or is there a better method? What should I do?
*
They'd probably blacklist you if you do so sweat.gif

You try to tell the TMPoint that you wanted to install this new package so you were forced to terminate it and see how... Some of them are quite understanding and willing to let you through without paying the penalty...

Else, downgrade your 512kbps to the cheapest package and pay until contract finishes rclxub.gif

lol..thank for your fast reply. But the problem is that Streamyx with my contract cannot be downgraded, but can only be upgraded, very funny way to earn my money.

Ok, I'll negotiate with them tomorrow (tm-point open on Saturday?), or else I have to lease out my line to the public.
*
Most do open on Saturday but only half day. You have to check at TM website.

By the way, I read the T&A and it states that termination within the contract period will cost RM600 penalty... that's including premise relocation... I'm like wtf ? Does that mean we have to pay RM600 even if we are just moving to new house/place ?

If i'm 4th year in ipts/ipta still can apply?
*
They don't even check what year I'm in... just get them the documents they need

Unless your student card shows the year, they probably won't call to your college just to ask about that

Hi everyone here. I need some help on this streamyx cool uni pack.

Is it possible for us to use another person's student ID to apply? Cuz the situation now is that few weeks ago my cousin took my student ID to apply, and now that my streamyx account is terminating soon (under contract), I want to apply for this promotion as well.

My question is:

1. Can I use back my student ID to apply again? (meaning there will be two packages)

2. Or can I use someone's else student ID to apply?
*
The TM staff will match the student ID with the subscriber's IC... He won't be able to register biggrin.gif

Pakey Jalur Lebar has nothing to do with this promotion, it's just the 100K quota, if it reaches 100K that would mean no netbook will be given out anymore unless government wishes to subsidize more...

Isn't it 14 WORKING days?

Anyway, I checked the HP online tracker and my netbook is slated to arrive today, but the tracker hasnt been updated with anything new since tuesday. Is there a separate tracking service in tiong nam's website? Thier website is full of shipping jargon and clicking on them doesn't show anything lol.
*
Most of us did receive it in 14 days if you check out the thread...

By the way, I got the netbook already and it wasn't Tiong Nam... Was FASP Delivery(what some funny name)

I got warranty problem too.. gotta contact them

They delivered the netbook to me with Spectra instead of what I've expected - a van/lorry or some bigger vechiles... Feels funny the moment I saw it

I don't think it's just a single technical error... Cause my friend's status shows 110 too..

The differences between these two are the processor and the weight/size. Take a look:

user posted image

110(right) is a little big bigger. It has a faster 1.83ghz N470 though, compared to 1.66ghz N450 used by 210.

It's just a little bit thicker and heavier... though I prefer 210's design... and yea, 210 is a newer model.

The 0.17ghz difference for such low end processor should be barely noticeable...

that HP Mini 110 is not a old model, it support Wireless N,
and using Intel Atom N475 which is Launch on Q2'10
So the Mini 110's HDD is on 5400 RPM ?

210's is running at 7200 RPM... hmm

No idea yet, but most probably yeah.
Gonna get my web order number from HP tomorrow, lol.
Hopefully I'm one of the 210 batch.

Big chance you'll be getting 110 if you haven't got your number...
