That is just a place you type your ID and password, you can't change password there you need to go to TM website.

Yeah...or you can apply for a new phone line and unipack together so that you no need to wait for the cool down period
*
Actually there are more ways than that... I alone has been recommended to change telephone number or add a sub line and I did the later... down time was 1 week only. Need to sacrifice phone number though which is something that's negligible for students... I doubt we still use home line sweat.gif

As long as the home line is attached with Cool Uni Pack, rental fees will be waived off.

Just called HP... they didn't have my record yet sad.gif

How do you attach homeline with cool uni pack to get waived the rm26? currently i already have both homeline(under dad name) and standard streamyx(under my name), and plan to switch to uni pack, what is your advice ? migrate? or cancel everything and re-sign up?

will streamyx auto attach and auto waived rm26, if i just migrate from standard streamyx to uni pack without cancelling?

im getting more confused now  rclxub.gif
*
By attach I mean you register Cool Uni Pack under that home line number... Look, one home line can only have one Streamyx registered with it.

For your case, since the Streamyx is yours you can do a direct upgrade... Just fill up the registration form and submit at TMPoint and tell them to upgrade your Streamyx, no need to terminate anything. When your registration is completed and your home line has Cool Uni Pack, there's no need to pay RM26 rental fee already.

I doubt the key would work if you're installing different version of Windows 7 on your netbook...

Just went to another TMpoint, the staff told me the netbook is still available, once I heard this, I'm quite happy with it as I finally can register the Cool UniPack, but then TM show me another pattern again, they said my University chop isn't acceptable since the chop itself doesn't stated it's from Student Affair department, but just the University name and registered no, I told her many of my friends registered with this chop at KL TMpoint, she straight away told me she got no guts to process my application and ask me to go KL TMpoint for registration, I really salute to TM customer services.

PS: Can I register at KL TMpoint eventhough my streamyx is to be installed at Perak state?
*
Why don't you take another ticket and go to other counter with different staff ?

Maybe you can register at KL TMpoint... but make sure the KL TMpoint is easily reachable during the installation... expect a few visits to make them do their work.

just now the tm contractor came to install the homeline..he said need rm200 for wiring...omg!is it so expensive?any experience?
*
It depends on how long your wiring is... If I remember correctly it's around RM50 for first 5 meters and RM40 for every subsequent meter... So if your house is big... pray hard rclxub.gif Technician offered me RM150 for my sub line but I rejected it and replaced the main line wiring with my sub line tongue.gif

If you didn't get the confirmation slip, there's no fixed time for the technician to come. If you're account is already registered and you are given the slip, you can already check the technician name and phone number not long after the registration... Normally the technician will come in 3 days but for my case I called him like mad... So second day after registration he came already

Is it much faster than previously? Is it possible to uninstall the crapy programmes without having to format the hard disk?
*
You can uninstall them but it won't truly clean your netbook... there will be some leftover like temp files and registries setting

It depends on the TM Point... They can easily e-mail the HQ to explain about the case and help removing the quarantine period... but you know, it's TM... that's a miracle.

Hello I already got the order number... but I can't check with the link stated on first page...

The order number is 4 alphabets followed by 6 digits(ex: ABCD123456)... I've entered the number it says "No Order Found"...

And how should I fill the order date number ? According to HP, the order date is 8/6/2010... but I already filled in 08/06/10 but it won't work

Edit: Wtf I filled in the date instead of choosing with the arrow rclxub.gif What a dumbass I am

I don't think installing Windows 7 on this netbook is a good idea... It's probably not fast enough to run support that many features

I guess this version is specifically designed for Cool Uni Pack... the real HP Mini does have 6 cells battery...

It's probably just a technical error somewhere... maybe HP mistakenly logged 1003TU instead of 1073TU and so that guy received the 6 cells model... it's meant to be a retail unit. That's just a lucky guy maybe
