Whoops, sorry didn't know he wanted Cyber. Yeah, Cyberia's the cheapest alternative if you don't want to live in hostel. RM250 the lowest if my memory serves me right. Although, hostels aint half bad either when ur in Cyber wink.gif

I've just submitted the application form on Sunday during the edu fair in midvalley at MMU booth.
How would I know if I'm offered a place in MMU ?
DO they have enough time to inform me as the registration is on this coming Wednesday ? and I'm afraid that I'm not selected. lol

guys, in the ptptn require document, the bank account statement.
what i did was register for online banking CIMBclicks then print the account detail and get that document certified at school.

was this the right thing to do?

I think you need to get the statement over the counter. It's different from the statement got online.

For PTPTN, when you register for the CIMB account, they call it the 'statement account' meaning you don't get a book. Instead you have an account on statement (obviously) only. That's why you won't get a bank book. (this part was very confusing for me at first, coz i thought whenever u open an account, u should be given a bank book. Plus during that time, the CIMB staff weren't very helpful. When i ask for the bankbook, they kept repeating 'Ini statement account' over and over again instead of explaining to me what the hell is a statement account.Sheesh!)
Ergo, don't expect a bank book.

What I did previously was, I asked the CIMB staff to print out the first page of that statement account, or the full month (your call). I think they will charge RM1 or RM2. The CIMB staff will have it certified on the spot. Check for chop and signature of the CIMB manager or person in charge. Easier than going on a manhunt for the lecturer/authorities to certify for you.

Hey everyone, I'm a little new in this forum. My parents keep telling me to go to MMU cyberjaya to do my engineering course, but I am a bit hesitant as i don't feel like going so far from KL and leaving" everything" behind. I need entertainment you see..

Whats life like there in MMU? Just need some opinions.. Are there things to do there to entertain yourself?

Also I heard its extremely strict with some of its weird rules.. never expected that from a private U blink.gif .. are they regularly enforced? what are the rules like? Thanks
