gosh that super fast. I only get 350KByte/s even in the middle of Kuching city, and 100KByte/s now in kampung... why here is slower than Semenanjung?

er, think I just hit my quota... But I saw something I don't understand:

My package is RM48 1.5Gb per month. This is just my 2nd month using it. I paid RM100 up front when I register, and the seller told me the RM100 will brought forward as monthly charge for 2 months, so I dont need to pay for the first 2 months.

But now when I read this bill, the current charge is RM134.06?? What's this?? Isn't this is just my 2nd month, total charge should be only RM96, with RM4 remaining and will bring forward to next month?? Why suddenly Maxis charge me RM34.06?? What is that for?? And where is the other RM48 went to??

That statement was dated 28/11. The current charge is RM184.06????!!!!!!!! What the F**K?

does having a normal wifi router for my streamyx interfere with maxis wbb reception? i check their coverage and there is hsdpa coverage in my area. however, the speed is 0.05mbps in speedtest.

I am using maxis bb for more than a year which is 3gb, RM88. But now the quota is bigger, so can I upgrade to the new plan? or stick it with old plan? Last time I encounter exceed quota and they block my internet request for buy credit. Then they said only applicable for new user not mine old account. So does it mean now Maxis will block ppl when exceed the quota?
Speaking of unlimited, does it still available. I don't receive any offer for me, since I am postpaid user.

try to ask for changes of plan.If they dont allow u to do so,just terminate and then apply again..

OK, at least my bill problem settled (they simply cancel the strange RM100 charge, but hope later I go to pay bill they don't cakap yang lain pulak...). Now there goes the usual quota problem... If on my "regular usage style", I going to burn RM56 evvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveryday... (thas RM28 1GB extra x2). Sigh, really hope there other kind of solutions grr.....

(well there is, as long as I don't turn off my connection for the whole month I can enjoy unlimited data......................................... which I not sure if it works everytime. Sometime Maxis system do have someking of "leaking". But the fact is, I just need to turn off my connection/laptop sometime... grr...)

My suggestion is,cancel the plan and get a new one.
The old plan is usually much more expensive than the new plan..

whats the average speed of maxis broadband? if it depends on area, i live pjs7/15 (near taylors lakeside campus)

bro im having serious problem with my broadband
1)I can hardly connect,it always stuck at authenticating there and show me an error msg
2)if i managed to connect,the connection lasted for only a few seconds,then it changed from hspa to wcdma,the upload and download as shown in the program is 0.00 at all..

help pls..

Signal problem? Sometime if I stuck like that, I just unplug the modem, wait a while and plug again, usually that works for me.

Well, why don't you go bomb (or bother/contact/annoy whatever you call it) Maxis for a while.

Speed get throttled is so damn ........ f**k... sad, sigh, mad, angry, crazy, !!! almost no words to describe... damn. I gonna live the rest of the month with super super super super super super snail snail snail snail snail speed now...

If they don't throttle the speed with all these FUP stuff, everyone's happy. I get 3Mbps in town, 1Mbps in jungle still thats fine. But cut the speed below 150Kbps (which is actually hardly responsive at all), is really p.i.t.a.

A responsive 150Kbps won't be as hurt... Why the net just super not responsive after kena throttle?

Just subscribed to Maxis wireless broadband (3GB RM38 for first 5 months), bought wifi modem E5832 too.

Speedtest using my iPhone 4 Maxis 3G yield about 500kB/s but with E5832, max speed is ard 250kB/s

Any idea why is it so? Tests done both in the same location. Sungai Dua, Butterworth, Penang.

Where is the reseller? How about Maxis Centre?
