After exchange conversion based on yesterday's rate, for 64GB model, HK is cheaper by about RM130 compare to Spore.
Any idea whether HK has GST?

Wondering the Ipad from HK & S'pore are identical? Any possibility that the HK unit with better Chinese language support?

I don't think you can do it as yxplayer is a 3rd party app and your video is most probably not supported since you want to use yxplayer. The camera connection kit will only allow you to open videos with apple's supported video formats. Maybe you can try the following method. I use the same method to open a windows wmv video file - it works

1. Email the file to yourself ; open in Goodreader - if file compatible with yxplayer - it would show you an option to open it with YXPlayer


2. Upload the file in Dropbox and access the file there


This is one of the hassle using the ipad if you wish to use 3rd party apps and non-supported video formats

You can google for Dropbox or Goodreader if you are unsure what this is all about. A quick tutorial can be found here : Saving files Dropbox

1) upload file via itunes

2) copy file from connection kit via ifile than paste into yxplayer folder.

but just want to know if there is a much direct way of viewing it without importing it into the ipad.

yxplayer does have a file browser but it only looks into its own folder in the ipads memory ... .. hopefully .. there will be a tweak to change this.

Nope, I didn't see that. They only have leather cases, other cases and screen protector, etc.

No iPad on sale here in Midvalley. A lot of accessories and cases, though.

I saw iPad for sale in Sunway Pyramid, top floor near skating rink, just outside the digital center area. I also have a friend selling iPad and it comes with 1 year Apple care plan.

My iPad is coming in from US soon. Can't wait. Just wondering what is the best case for iPad you guys can recommend? I prefer a normal case like an iPhone cover rather than a book folder-like case....
