2.2k is quiet reasonable bcos currently i still seeing people selling ipad at 2.5 for 16gb tat more is more higher then it
*
I didn't even enquire more stalls, jsut simply asking one of the stalls near to the escalator as i was helping my friend to get a new universal laptop charger.
The price might be slightly reduced as well.
Seriously I would rather buy in LYP if the price is lower/similar to what LYN sellers are selling.

Even iPhones have high risk of being snatched, not to mention iPad.
It's always better to be safe. Witness a snatch and u'll understand why blush.gif

If that is your answer, then you shouldn't be owning an iPad, or any highly-perceived/ high end stuff in the first place. Everybody then just buy brand X from Walmart or Tesco.

Changing public perception doesn't happen in a blink of an eye. But you can help towards that goal by making it seems normal or commonplace so that it'll be perceived as commonplace item, this devaluing its desirability, and reducing the possibility of theft. The more rare the item is, the more it is perceived as valuable thus more desirable to rob. Just look at the iPhone. At one time, very few are using it and thus often being perceived as "ripe" for the picking of thieves. Fast forward to today. It's commonplace appearance because everyone kept using it in public makes it no longer a theft-focused item like it used to be.

In any case, I don't really care what others perceive me or the things I do in public. Conformity only reduces one's ability to be creative and free. Following what others do just to escape being singled out isn't what I'd call liberating.

By the way, this message was typed on an iPad while in line at a fast food joint. The more commonplace the general public see the iPad the faster I can use it to my advantage instead of having to type on the iPhone's dinky little screen. Suffering on behalf of what others perceive you as? The general public isn't worth that much to sacrifice for.

To each his own. One day when it's common to see the iPad out in the wild, that'll be the day I'll be glad I'm part of the folks who made it so that you don't gave to feel or be awkward using it "as intended".

I need to actually hold the ipad in my hands and see if it's heavy enough to be uncomfortable to type with one hand. Also, what about the heat from the device?

At the moment I seem to be torn between choosing this or a HTC HD2 Android.

Holding it and typing with one hand can be a tad tiring due to the device having a bit of heft but not a deal killer. In fact once you get used to it, you will hardly notice it. Heat? Only one time I ever felt any heat was when I was using it in the car stuck in a traffic jam and it was exposed to the sun, other than that, never felt any heat from the back of the device.

Can't compare a phone to a tablet/slate/insert any name here. If you feel that you want to have the best media consumption device at the moment, be it reading books, watching movies, surfing the web or even social media, then the iPad is your choice. As many people have pointed out, this is not going to replace your laptop but it will replace that dinky netbook. Plus ever since I got my iPad my iPhone has been relegated to a corner only brought out for the occasional music listening session smile.gif Of course that might change when the 4th gen iPhone launches tongue.gif

Am typing this on my wifi iPad in a public park at The Hague, Netherlands...have to say the Dutch Mat Sallehs here are quite amazed by it...a few came to ask "Is that an iPad?!" shocking.gif
Fortunately for them, this Malaysian iPad owner gladly gave a demo of it's features...any chance of claiming commission from Steve Jobs?! hmm.gif

Sync the file via iTunes or if in your mail app, just use the "open in" option. when using the mail app option, it auto converts and imports into Keynote. If you transfer via iTunes you have to select the import option (*icon on the top right) then select the file you wish to convert and import. Note that you can only import MS PPT but cannot export back to that format.

I seldom use my ipad online, cause only use it to check mail casually or browse forums, which will last maybe for 10mins lol. I use my iPad in the public only when i need to use it urgently to online. However, I normally will just use my phone to do the task, where urgent things normally will be just emails or forum replies/pm.

The iPad serve me as a fantastic offline device... biggrin.gif

Okay, just woke up, my meds drowsiness effect had just wore off I guess. My bro left the microsim card he had promised me, will take pics of it later and install it into my 3G iPad and see how it goes.

I'm wondering what's the difference between the mobile broadband 6GB and enhance mobile data plan. Double the capacity for RM 10?

Can someone explain this to me? I tried looking on maxis' website but there was nothing. Do both use the microsim? Basically, what I'm trying to ask is what's the catch?
