Well, no need to bash other brands, if you like Macbook then its ..i like Acer, AW, Sager, Asus, BenQ etc etc....

You think people here voted for Apple/HP because of their price (and so called High-End models)..that just of the day, we here already done few testing with the laptops itself and even some experienced it themselves, and i think you should think like an Apple also,

oh wait.....what is it again, 'Think Different' but obviously from the previous picture only one person 'Think Different' which is the one using Acer, nice isn't it ....

We are not bashing one another, some got good experience with Macbook, some don't...while some got problems with their Acer, while some don't ...

Easy my friend, stick with Macbook (Apple) if it really satisfy you, as for us, with the budget of Macbook, we can get the likes of M17x/G51Jx/N61Jq/N8690 etc etc ...

1 think bad about hackintosh is it is very hard to get driver...

hackintosh is useless without the right drivers... I don't think the manufacturers dare release drivers for OSX... can get sued by Apple.

Look at your needs for the laptop and your budget. You have to look at the specs and warranty/after sales service.

As for me I'd buy anything that satisfy my needs and money

Really.. for the Mac vs other brands it should be whether you use MacOSX or Windows thats it..

1. For VAIO and Apple, nobody's complaining about the price. It's the performance you get after you've plunked down 5-6k for average specs. HIGH-END price, MID-RANGE specs. Not worth it. Period.

2. Good luck managing those temps of yours. And even though I own a laptop with a slot-loading DVD, I'll admit it is seriously annoying. I'd take a tray-loader over a slot-loader anytime.

3. I don't think you can "custom make" your own laptop... If we could we wouldn't even be having this discussion in the first place. If you're thinking stuff like ORIGIN PC then you're definitely wrong- those cost 2-3x a standard lappie.

4. What's the point of buying a Macbook if you're going to run Win7 on it? The only thing Mac has going for it is its OS and the nice software included (which is much better than Win7). By doing that, you just took away the only good point in favour of the Macbook, besides the sleek design. Great job on that.

the pic could be very true in US or most part of Europe. Even though DELL from US but not many ppl using it. Most ppl used Mac. Only in Asia with their low income would ppl glorify brand like Acer or Dell.

Yup, most people in US/EU use MAC instead of the likes of Dell/Acer......but, do you see those people in WGC use any of Apple Macbook ...just joking ..

Well, we are not saying Macbook are not good, it fantastic btw but when come to games & price, people are more towards on getting what they can within their budget ...A gamer would never go for Macbook ...for design and multimedia apps, OSX can give the best that it can offer but still with the same price, we can get a notebook that can do multimedia apps and games in the same time ..

Can do play Assassins Creed II in ULTRA HIGH SPEC with Macbook?? Yes, you can when you use the likes of Sager/Dell instead ...Buying Macbook and installed Win 7 in it just total ..people go for Macbook because of OSX ...hardware?? even the likes of Compaq & Acer pawned Macbook anytime

Wow, that means when I got my Dell in the states while most of my IT classmate that time who use other brands but Apple are considered non-american?? or am I studied in a wrong country ?? If your most ppl uses Mac theory is right, then why in the States, Mac OS is still a small percentage compare to Windows?
