dont jump into conclusion.. It would be MacOSX vs Windows 7 later on lol..
Well, I've met people who wanted to buy a Macbook and only use WIndows 7 on it .. And this is then considered "overpriced" LoL.. Whats the point of using Win 7 on Macbooks? When you can buy better hardware for Windows 7.. |

QUOTE(UnderTheSun @ May 18 2010, 02:13 PM) Brand doesn't matter Look at your needs for the laptop and your budget. You have to look at the specs and warranty/after sales service. As for me I'd buy anything that satisfy my needs and money Really.. for the Mac vs other brands it should be whether you use MacOSX or Windows thats it.. |

QUOTE(sn0wle0pard @ May 18 2010, 06:07 PM) the pic could be very true in US or most part of Europe. Even though DELL from US but not many ppl using it. Most ppl used Mac. Only in Asia with their low income would ppl glorify brand like Acer or Dell. We glorify it? We use windows Heavy Gamers don't use Macbook |

QUOTE(sn0wle0pard @ May 18 2010, 09:03 PM) What's wrong with people buying other brands besides Apple Mac? It makes them stupid? What if i say Sager/Clevo ? Those are cheapskates like the rest also? and Mac is the allpowerfull 13", 15", and 17" fastest notebooks in the universe? No offense my friend has a macbook does not become a fanboy like you are There's a reason why we choose not to buy Macbooks.. Money we have.. But Macbook for multimedia editing is nice.. But we want something all in one.. -Good Specs -Reasonable price? -Some people wants Windows Gaming capability -Still can do multimedia editing |

QUOTE(monza84 @ May 19 2010, 06:28 AM) Please la bro, dun make stupid comment such as this....BSOD is normal even for Mac (well i dunno if they got the same name)...even Mac (OSX) hangs sometimes We are not bashing Mac here, just pointing something out...please bro, not everyone are into Mac because 85% people that use laptop also use it for games....even my friends that using MBP always come to me and borrow my lowly S42 to play Dirt2 & ACII...i said to install Win 7 in their MBP, already installed but they say the performance is not as great as mine...how bro, for business use & doing some multimedia apps, Macbook is great but still when we want one all-rounder laptop, who would go for Mac bro... There's a reason why Windows 7 and MacOSX are different.. Coming to think of it isnt it more of an OS thingy? not the hardware This post has been edited by Eugene91: May 19 2010, 09:04 AM |

QUOTE(atukbaru @ May 23 2010, 05:13 AM) You think I'd give a fcuk if your Proton(Acer) has better specs compared to my BMW(Macbook)? What the ?? U compare Proton with Acer? There's a lot more that goes into a laptop than just specs.. I learnt that after switching my 7 month old toshiba to a Macbook. It's way more comfortable/interesting to watch a HD TV SHow on a Macbook compared to a Toshiba.... Define "It's way more comfortable/interesting to watch a HD TV SHow" This depends on the codec and the lcd la You want real HD? make sure its a 1080P LCD when you buy a notebook... Sorry la.. Macbook for HD TV Show ONLY? Seriously? I'd prefer, I think most prefer an allrounder notebook. QUOTE(atukbaru @ May 23 2010, 02:11 PM) based on the replies on this thread and the votes for Apple just because of it's price, I'd say this thread is filled with cheapos.... Malaysians... can't afford a premium priced laptop coz of various reason, just f*** it down with a "lousiest laptop vote"...LOL I think you've got it wrong ps- to the idiot who said that Apple is not high-end because of specs-the term high-end is not limited to specs(this guy is a marketing noob).. If you say a Macbook is all about OSX... you got it wrong... But other notebooks has better specs for Windows 7 |
