Well, everyone are voting from their experience ...some have bad experience with Acer/HP/Dell etc etc..we cannot blame them ...

And some read from review, and even better from a real test drive with the product itself ...well, for me still Apple got the vote because of their lack of cooling design with the latest MBP and their price is just

Its not the warranty...even Acer got better deal in warranty, yet to say Asus default 2 years warranty...its their After-sales service to be precise

Seems like Toshiba is the only laptop for now without any problem ...

Well, Acer improved but still maybe got some minor problem with their latest unit (as i recall the battery faulty of some Acer models)...but, as i said earlier..people vote because they have experienced it themselves..so, in a way, still Acer would lead the pack

I got one Packard Bell in my store room...dunno if still alive or not but never gave me any problem before

Well, no need to bash other brands, if you like Macbook then its ..i like Acer, AW, Sager, Asus, BenQ etc etc....

You think people here voted for Apple/HP because of their price (and so called High-End models)..that just of the day, we here already done few testing with the laptops itself and even some experienced it themselves, and i think you should think like an Apple also,

oh wait.....what is it again, 'Think Different' but obviously from the previous picture only one person 'Think Different' which is the one using Acer, nice isn't it ....

We are not bashing one another, some got good experience with Macbook, some don't...while some got problems with their Acer, while some don't ...

Easy my friend, stick with Macbook (Apple) if it really satisfy you, as for us, with the budget of Macbook, we can get the likes of M17x/G51Jx/N61Jq/N8690 etc etc ...

Reasonable as we all know previous Acer laptop (especially Aspire Series in year 2004~2008) gives a lot of problem to consumers, my friends Acer also the same..while mine Travelmate (maybe same as yours) last till now

Because just few of users here that use Toshiba, i also got a Toshiba Protege..so far there's no problem with it

Toshiba usually got a lot of problem with their LCD connector, my friend change his LCD through warranty about 4 times and then the SC suggested to change his laptop to a different model with less problem

If you are comparing spec between Acer & Macbook which have the same price ..i tell you this, Acer spec wins hands down...

MBP13 = C2D 2.4GHz + NV 320M @SGD2188
Acer Aspire 4820TG = i7 620M + HD5650 @SGD2198

So, tell me which spec is better ....people buy Macbook because of OSX ..not Macbook itself ...i say it again, its the OSX!!!!...my BenQ is just also comfortable watching HD TV Show without any lags or problem ...

Oh my...you just didn't get it do you......Rolex sells BRAND & QUALITY...even a 2" kid knows that...Macbook also the same but then again referring to spec, others seems a lot better unless you want to use OSX...

What can MACBOOK offer us except for the fact that it uses OSX

Just like Sony VAIO, they sell the BRAND...same goes with Macbook, they sell BRAND & OSX....

I want Window 7 to play Crysis Warhead...can Macbook gives me the same quality that Sager N8690 gives in terms of game performance & quality ...

Ok then, lets now compare Macbook Pro 17 with Asus G73Jh, both are 17"...reliable BRAND & also gives quality products ...

Which do you think people would want to buy ...
