Kily Heading Towards Galatasaray - Report

The Inter winger is set to join the Turkish giants.

According to reports coming from the press in Turkey, Kily Gonzalez is very close to sign a deal with Galatasaray by the end of this week.

Coach Eric Gerets is keen on bringing the experienced midfielder, who played 14 times for Inter last season, to Galatasaray.

Veron hands Inter trophy

Juan Sebastian Veron's extra time strike handed Inter their first Italian Supercup since 1989, but Juve feel hard done by after a controversial encounter.

The Italian version of the Charity Shield saw Scudetto winners Juventus welcome Coppa Italia holders Inter to the Stadio Delle Alpi. The Bianconeri were without the injured Gianluigi Buffon, Alessandro Birindelli and Lilian Thuram, but Mauro Camoranesi recovered from a muscular problem to start.

Alessandro Del Piero - at the centre of rumours he is to join Milan - was left on the bench alongside ex-Rossoneri goalkeeper Christian Abbiati.

Inter fielded Adriano and Obafemi Martins, but the much-anticipated Luis Figo was in the stands due to his lack of match fitness. There was heavy rainfall in Turin and this made play somewhat difficult.

well their neighbour in red got awesome firepower as well. n I don't think Inter's backline can really shut them up all together either.

yeah...inter's firepower might be strong, but against juve that day they relied heavily on adriano... Let's hope the introduction of figo and solari can change that. AC Milan as usual are stronger every season. I'm still quite unconvinced by inter's defence... but david pizzaro will create alot nuisance in the opponent's defence that's for sure. tongue.gif

'Spitting' Samuel handed ban

Inter's Walter Samuel has been suspended for three matches after spitting at Pavel Nedved of Juventus.

The Italian football authorities have handed Samuel the ban, after TV evidence from Saturday's Italian Super Cup match was evaluated.

Footage shows the Argentine, who only arrived from Real Madrid in the summer, spit at the Czech ace in Inter's 1-0 win.

The former Roma central defender is now set to miss the Serie A matches against Treviso, Palermo and Lecce.

Carini handed Cagliari gloves

Cagliari, as widely expected, have signed goalkeeper Fabian Carini from Internazionale on a one-year loan.

The Sardinian club confirmed his capture this evening after the player's agent, Paco Casal, agreed terms with both sides earlier today.

The Uruguayan started his career with Danubio in his homeland and was handed his international debut as a 20-year-old.

Carini, now 26, moved to Italy in January 2001 when he was signed by Juventus, but subsequently failed to break into the side.

he played for Juve b4, n keep the goal for Uruguay in WC '02. Surely not a Buffon or Cech, but actually not a bad GK. Remind me of Campos coz of his size. smile.gif

Carini really impressed me at the 2002 WC and during the time he played for Juventus. still remember the Gunner were close to signing him a few seasons back
