Lazio rejected Inter's Zauri bid Lazio turned down a £2.2m offer from Internazionale for versatile Italian international Luciano Zauri. The full-back, who can also play in midfield, was targeted probably as a result of the injury sustained by Javier Zanetti. "(Inter owner Massimo) Moratti offered me £2.2m for Zauri," revealed Biancocelesti chief Claudio Lotito on Thursday. Inter failed in their attempt to land Zauri, as they did in bids for Parma's Daniele Bonera and David Jemmali of Bordeaux. hello Interista n Serie A lover pls help our fellow Serie A fanatics in Spore got this from JFCM.com.my QUOTE Hi everyone, my name is Farah and I'm from Singapore. I sent an email to the fan club asking for some help, so I'm going to copy and paste it here because that's the best way to explain the situation. smile.gif
I'm actually writing to ask for your kind help for the Serie A fans here in Singapore.
Now here is the story -
In Singapore, we are at the mercy of this ONE cable company. We've had Serie A coverage for the past... about five years, at least, and this year, the cable company decides the cost of broadcasting is too high and they will no longer broadcast Serie A on channels we are already paying for. (Not to mention our market is saturated with EPL and La Liga coverage.) Even worse, the cable company didn't even have the courtesy to inform us of this cancellation - they just assumed nobody will notice. And when Week 1 came and went, boy, we sure did notice.
So us Singaporeans here went on a campaign last week to get the press to cover this story and expose the cable company for their wily ways and our efforts came to fruition in Sunday's paper - you can read the article here: http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/sports/story/...5935940,00.html?
In light of that, I've started an online petition for the cable company to negotiate to an agreement - and it's important that they see for themselves how much support Serie A has in Singapore and around the world! It would be wonderful if you could support our petition here:
http://www.petitiononline.com/seriea05/petition.html
I would really like to thank all of you you kindly in advance for your support, on behalf of the Serie A fans in Singapore. hope u guys can help them by signing the online petition

Adriano set to continue early season formInter travel to Palermo on Saturday looking to continue their good start to the season, and with Brazilian striker Adriano on great form. Inter's Brazilian striker Adriano scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win against promoted Treviso on the opening day of the season, further boosting optimism after a two-legged win over Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk in a Champions League qualifier and the defeat of Juventus in the pre-season Supercup. The quality of Inter's squad, boosted by the pre-season arrival of Portuguese winger Luis Figo from Real Madrid, is not in doubt but their character will be tested by the intimidating atmosphere awaiting them at a packed 'Favorita' stadium. Palermo 3 - 2 InterCorini 20 (P), Terlizzi 50 (P), Makinwa 67 (P), Cruz 85, 94 (I) Inter's Indian Summer seems to be over after a humiliating and thoroughly deserved 3-2 defeat in Sicily. The scoreline was very flattering to the Nerazzurri, as Palermo rattled the woodwork twice and brought a series of incredible saves out of goalkeeper Julio Cesar. Adriano was the danger man, fresh from scoring two hat-tricks in the space of 10 days against Treviso and Chile, but it was Palermo who had the best start. Within the first three minutes Andrea Caracciolo had called Julio Cesar into a point-blank reaction save and Marco Materazzi dived in to prevent Bonanni turning in the loose ball from six yards. Adriano have one good chance, but didn't score and freekick hit the post bar.
Veron should not take the freekick so earlier, pity veron ..

QUOTE(nck_ck @ Sep 14 2005, 12:12 PM) How did Veron get sent off? Was it a deserving red card?? As a Man Utd fan, i'm glad to see Veron doing well in Inter...bar the sending off... he was shown the 2nd yellow card for the match for taking a freekick too quickly. Sounds like a harsh decision to me.

Man that's kinda harsh...the referee should've reconsidered since he's already on a yellow card...
Julio Cruz seems to be on form too...wonder how well will the Adriano/Cruz partnership go??? What about Obafemi Martins?

True...but his pace goes well with Adriano being able to hold up the ball...both work quite well with each other...

martins still can improve that's the good part. Add to his pace sum good knowledge of the game, he will be very dangerous to other defences in the time to come
