QUOTE(ieR @ May 13 2010, 10:45 PM)
i just answered kmarc privately.. but i will still tell why

the reason first picture appear a little blue is because
metaphor: the florescent in the room fires at 100%, at iso800, it absorb more like, due to the fire fires weaker, perhaps (maybe) at 80% (20% weaker then the florescent, or proper term, shorter period, allow the rest of the opening shuttle for the florescent to overwrite the initial flash)
i am now talking bout micro seconds.

at iso200, the flashgun fires stronger (longer period to say) enough to over power the florescent light... hence the prettier WB picture

and for the weird BG(kitchen)... yes, iso200 should have darker kitchen, but its the DRO that kicks in that make it greenish blue ^^.

Thx for giving me the explanation through phone. Now I understand what's going on. thumbup.gif

I'm not too sure whether the light in the kitchen was suddenly switched on. Next time I will try with DRO off. smile.gif

I started playing with DRO last week. Really makes a difference to bring out the dark areas on pictures! drool.gif

Well at least it give my mind that for picking a 50-150mm as better carry ... xD and low profile :3

and some comparison that 50-150mm has an outstanding performance because the reason of it optical DX ->FX? just the matter of lacking the tripod ring mount =__= and 150mm only! sad.gif
