Hi Everyone

I have also heard about the myth of brothers Fs. In my primary school days, they were referred to as "abang-adek".

Since September 2010 or thereabout, I have caught maybe about 5 pairs of not good sized male Fs together in a nest. When I fought them, they will fight normally with one another. (myth is they won't fight one another)

The logical explanation would be that the 2 males just happen to bulid a nest on the same leaves but their web separate them. So far none of my 1st king came from this this abang-adek pair.

I still do hope to catch a brother pair and I still do have some belief that they exist.

Hi Bro Utility47, thanks for the sharing. As a kid, I personally witnessed the couple FS. The male FS fought against my chopster.. My chopster kept chopping and the male FS kept defending. Once the FS sensed that the chopster is exhausted at the 7th round, he would attack and won my chopster at the 9th round.

You fought your FS for so many rounds? Must be pretty naughty then.

The male in Couple FS tends to be quite large and good fighter. The reason is quite simple. Which female spider will want to live with a male which cannot protect her?

I have caught a number of couples in my kid days. Usually my 1st king come from here.

Yes, I agree with Randy that the two males may live together because they are too lazy to find another place.

I may have used the wrong term 'rounds'. There was only a single fight which the two FS had 9 'kiap' or 'gop'.
Yupe. I reckon you are right. Laws of nature which the female FS will find strongest male to procreate.

There are several version views on this brothers FS.

Two male Fs sharing the same nest normally happens when one of male (adik) earlier was still in subadult stage havent molted stay in its own nest.
The other male FS "abang" mistaken the "adek" as female and try to court and hang out/stay in the same nest. Later when the "adek" molted both also staying together because used to it already after staying together for few weeks/months.

Another version is both the male FS are not area dominant/ aggressive type, thus doesnt chase each other other from the nest unless its really too near to each other... eg.. if the leaves nest area is big or separated by web on each fs side...

When put some of the weak male FS 2-3 together in same leaves inside case, the weaker kecut FS normally will run out and hide under the leaves.. but after sometimes, can see both FS staying inside the leaves together but each have their own distance away.. maybe due to the space constraint or giving up chasing the other fs out alwys.

I agree with viper88. I have personally seen three big male spiders on a huge yam leave in Brunei jungle. And they are far away from one another.

Very good fighting displayed by both FS ToothAche and 1 Piece. thumbup.gif
Toothache fought fearlessly against a much bigger size opponent, 1 Piece.

Once again this fight shows that smaller size FS also can give strong fight against other bigger size FS. flex.gif

I watched the fights few times and amazed with Toothache ability to withstand so many strong attacks from 1 piece and fought back hard for victory.
Abt 20X+ close range chops, abt 2x throw flips. strong push and lifted in the air and also strong slam down! shocking.gif
This fight is so exciting and makes me want to share out /highlight some of the fight in details. brows.gif

Toothache started the fight with strong chops to pushed 1 Piece backwards.
Attached Image

1 Piece uses its body size and strength to push back, lifted up high in the air and flipped Toothache far away!
Can hear some1 say.. Toothache maybe will kena makan. sweat.gif One Piece really dominating and gave Toothache headache. tongue.gif

Toothache regain balanced and jump on top One piece head trying to attack on its abdomen.
Attached Image

1 Piece immediate flipped Toothache upside down, lifted up and did a hard slammed!
Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

Attached Image

Toothache after being flipped and thrown 2X, start to chg fight tactics.. can see long tight arm locks and strong bites exchges from both FS.
Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

Toothache managed to bite One Piece arm/leg when the arm lock loosen. The strong bites weaken/injured One Piece..

Have exhausted alot energy + injury from strong bites, One Piece retreat after realized its hard to subdue Toothache.

Victory to Toothache. rclxms.gif

Congrates to Bro Randy, owner of Toothache rclxms.gif

One Piece had tried its best to win the fight, eventho lost in the end also deserve good applause for good fighting skill. rclxms.gif

This is the 3rd long fight between these 2 brave FS and both were out to impress and win.

That was our early Sunday morning fights. We all had fun.

Very interesting analysis, viper88. Remind me of the great fights by SoD too. Was SoD ever defeated?

SOD was a class by itself. A pity that we could not see more of his fights. But it is equally important that he can procreate in the wild so that his future generations can be as great as him.

Hi Everyone

" Two male Fs sharing the same nest normally happens when one of male (adik) earlier was still in subadult stage havent molted stay in its own nest."

That is the most logical explanation for 2 male being in one nest. Some of us were previously not aware of this concept of sub-adult moulting to a male. It was only until Bro Rudy gave me a sub-adult which moulted to a male that I had first hand experience of subadult moulting. I also noticed that many or if not all of Bro Ah Kim's friend were also not aware about this subadult concept. As a child, I thought 'female' changing to male was just a tall story. My confession is even until now I don't really know how to see a subadult and my excuse now is my not so good eyesight. biggrin.gif

I have to thank Bro Viper for his fight analysis of ToothAche V One Piece and the photos makes it super cool. It is so super cool that I just had to show it to Mrs Exspiderking and showed her the video followed by reading the commentary line by line with the freeze frame photos. Not very sure whether Mrs Exspiderking impressed or not?? rolleyes.gif

Sword of Damocles. This is the ML sized Fs which gives me the sweetest of memory. My regret is being too kum-cheong and over fought him thus accelerating and converting him to chop unnecessarily. Sword of Damocles had fought with the very best and some very big opponents. He lost to One Piece (Big ML), Apeno(XL size) and HK3 (L size) as well as lost to Small Terror (M size) which I did not expect and did not record.

I thank everyone for their kind touching comments on ToothAche and Sword of Damocles.

I also understand that Bro Ah Kim is back from his hunt in Hong Kong and have not contacted him yet. In anticipation, I have acquired a challenger, Motra Senior and would photograph him over the weekend and hope that he does not have the flying chop style of fighting (or eating). tongue.gif

Thanks for refreshing my memory about SoD, Randy. Now, I remembered that SoD was terrorised by Small Terror and SoD became a terror himself, winning a number of "big" matches before its release.

Looking forward to meeting your Motra Senior. Hopefully it is not the long long species which chops by flying. On the other hand, seems like it.

Toothache caught my attention previously in his earlier fights against other bigger n stronger FS.
Really have good fighting will, aggressive and have strong bites. thumbup.gif

Another FS fight: Kurt Angle and Rudy's Spa also very impressive. Both fought fiercely and its a long exciting fight!

Rudy's Spar (Left) V Randy's Kurt Angle (Right) 110312

Which FS is stronger between Toothache and Kurt Angle ? Toothache and bro Rudy's Spar?

FS with strong fighting will and aggressive alwys produce power fights against equally strong and fierce opponents.

Really enjoy c all the FS fights videos. Thanks for sharing. icon_rolleyes.gif

I like the fight between Toothache and Freeze. Because the latter is a seasoned fighter and is larger in size.

Need some confirmation, has 1-Piece lost any match before to Toothache?

Hi Everyone

There is a total of 3 matches between 1 Piece and ToothAche. The record stands at 2-1 to Toothache. rclxms.gif

On 17 March 2012, hunted and found a new spot in Nirvana by the 'river'. Caught 3 tiny males from here:-

Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

Was also happy to see a 'cherry blossom' tree in Nirvana without having to travel to Japan.

Attached Image

Hunted at 3 spots in Nirvana, went to Parsi, Mandai and Thomson. Tried new spot in Thomson Road:

Attached Image

Caught about 10 males in total and all were too small.

Today, had a short hunt in PA with Bro Ricky. Caught 2 tiny male and one of the fight.....

Randy's PA Small FS (Bottom) V Ricky's Spar (Top) 180312

The event of this Sunday must surely be the gathering of Fs Kakis at Lorong Lew Lian for a mass friendly non-title fight.

Present were Bros Ricky, Rudy, Ken, Ah Kim, Ah Chiew, Uncle Hulk Hogan, Ravin (welcome Bro) me and think got 1 more of Ah Kim's friend.

The opening fight was already a recommended fight.

Randy's Optometrist (Bottom) V Ricky's Yishun (Top) 180312 (Recommended: thumbup.gif )

Yes, Bro Ricky did some intensive hunting as well. Notice the nice leaf platform? Collected it this morning along PIE (near Eunos exit).

Next is Bro Ken's FS....we seldom get to see his FS on video. He is the undisputed Mr Golden hands and is famous for catching big FS and giving them as presents. I happily took out Lorax for the challenge.

Randy's Lorax (Bottom) V Ken's Junior (Top) 180312

Opps...announce wrongly. Next is 2 Fs with similar sounding names.

Randy's Lorax (Left) V Ricky's Durax (Right) 180312

Out comes Bro Ricky's new FS called Nina Bay. This names leads the mind to wander to far away relaxing places with coconut trees and dancing ladies. The though of the far away land disappear when one promounce the name is the Hokkien language instead. biggrin.gif

Ricky's Nina Bay (Bottom) V Rudy's Spar (Top) 180312 (Recommended: thumbup.gif )

Ricky's Nina Bay (Bottom) V Ken's Junior II (Top) 180312 (Recommended: thumbup.gif )

Ricky's LJ Junior (Top) V Rudy's Spar II (Bottom) 180312

Randy's Kurt Angle (Top) V Ricky's LJ Junior (Bottom) 180312 (Recommended: thumbup.gif )

Yes, Kurt Angle gave me reasons to be proud. Together with Optometrist and Lorax, I have 3 victories in a row. rclxms.gif

Ha...out comes Toothache. Toothache looked slow and thinner but can he turn on the style? ToothAche has been giving us one good video every week, can he continue to do so?

Ricky's Squall (Top) V Randy's ToothAche (Bottom) 180312

Ricky's Emperor (Left) V Randy's ToothAche (Right) 180312

Is this the end of ToothAche?

He lost without much fight to 2 of Bro Ricky's Fs? Can he make a comeback????

Ricky's Emperor (Left) V Rudy's Spar III (Right) 180312

Randy's LJ Chop (Left) V Ricky's Changi II (Right) 180312

Ah Chiew's FS (Bottom) V Randy's LJ Chop (Top) 180312

Now we have Immortal Ku2....

Ricky's Immortal Ku2 (Left) V Ah Chiew's FS (Right) 180312

The heavyweight fight, the rematch between Immortal Ku2 and Apeno.

Ricky's Immortal Ku2 (Right) V Ah Kim's Apeno (Left) 180312

to be continued....some videos still "not processed" yet....don know why take so long....

1. Hope that toothache can regain his form.
2. Immortal KU2's bite is lethal. The FS first to bite is critical. If the bite is deep, painful and just won't let go,  it is not easy for the injured FS to counter-attack. Some Injured FS will try to wriggle the way out, some injured FS will just bite back with all its might-an eye for an eye. Such battles often results in heavy injuries for both sides and will needs sometime to heal.

Hi Everyone

Sometime there may be some "maintenance work" in this forum and can't post. Happened to me a few times.

The next fight is not for one with weak heart. It is a "small eat big" fight.

Ricky's Immortal Ku2 (Bottom) V Rudy's 99 Hit (Top) 180312 (Contain violent scene: shocking.gif )

Hope Immortal Ku2 is ok and it shows how nasty a strong chopster can be.

Randy's Patrick Tse (Right) V Ah Kim's Fatty (Left) 180312

That was not the first time Patrick Tse changed his mind about fighting... biggrin.gif

Ah Kim's Fatty (Bottom) V Rudy's Huang Fei Hong (Top) 180312

Maybe Fatty has some 'barang'.....Lol

Rudy's HK3 (Bottom) V Ah Kim's Fatty (Top) 180312 (Recommended: thumbup.gif )

Rudy's 1 Piece (Left) V Ricky's Freeze (Right) 180312

Rudy's 1 Piece (Left) V Ricky's Emperor (Right) 180312

That was 1 Piece, the People's champion and that was history in the making. 1 Piece is probably the longest serving FS since I started fighting and still winning consistently after more than 3 months. His fights are of the highest level against all possible opponents. This name 1 Piece will live forever in our hearts. rclxms.gif

Next is Skull Crusher...probably the most frightening name.

Rudy's FS1 (Right) V Ricky's Skull Crusher (Left) 180312

Rudy's FS1 (Bottom) V Ricky's Squall (Top) 180312

Ricky's Squall (Bottom) V Randy's Patrick Tse (Top) 180312

Ricky's Squall (Right) V Rudy's Chow Yun Fatt (Left) 180312

It took Chow Yun Fatt some effort to defeat Squall.

My question earlier was is this the end of ToothAche who surrendered rather easily? The answer would be his fight against Red Devil.

Randy's ToothAche (Bottom) V Rudy's Red Devil (Top) 180312 (Recommended: thumbup.gif )

That was a surprise...ToothAche is probably the only Fs who did not exhibit the tong bu stance and charged straight into Red Devil. The surprising part is ToothAche managed to somehow overcome Red Devil and the fight itself was sheer delight to the crowd. I am proud that ToothAche managed to give yet another good performance again this week. For the last 4 weeks, he would produce a good long fight. rclxms.gif

The credit must be given to Bro Rudy for keeping Red Devil in perfect health for about 4 months. I salute Red Devil. icon_rolleyes.gif

The final fight...yes, ToothAche Vs 1 Piece.

Rudy's 1 Piece (Top) V Randy's ToothAche (Bottom) 180312

So the record stands at 2-2 for this 2 warriors.

We all had fun and the crowd was wonderful.

1. OMG. Just hope that Immortal Ku2 is ok.
2. Fatty looks like a good fighter. If its arms are proportional to its abdomen, it will be a "huge" spider.
3. Good performance by Toothache against Red Devil and 1 Piece
4. Looks like 1-Piece is still the People's Champion after all.

Hi Everyone

These are some pictures taken from PA ("laser" spot) yesterday.

Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

I also just found out from the caretaker there that this place is frequented by horses and below is the proof. biggrin.gif

I wish to thank Bro Ah Kim for the Hong Kong Sub-adults. Strangely Bro Ah Kim came back with Sub-adults and not a single male.

I thought that all the FS in the surrounding areas from the December batch would have moulted in the wild to L and XL sized males.
