suddenly thinking of getting an old E36 (maybe the 318 or 325).. anyone here knows someone who owns one that' well kept?

get the 328i, it's newer(facelifted) and has more torque. but more roadtax. double of 325i.

convert to 1jz or m3 is good idea.
but of course 1jz is more sensible choice. but lacks bmw feel. m3 engine sure hard to find and expensive also harder to maitain. but worth it, at least for me. |

though of getting 325 or 328 but most of these performance cars usually are driven hard so not sure how 'strained' they are...

M3 is bmw anyway! @phas3r, my friend works as a mechanic at a bmw specialist shop near federal highway. He says hes shop gets alot of m3 engine and even some alpina ones!  |
