QUOTE(Jing-leBelle @ May 5 2010, 05:35 PM) Hi guys, i'm interested on an E36. But as all of you know, it's at least approx 15 years old like that. Will there any problem with the enginer, fan, aircon and etc? I saw on motor trader around 30k+-. How's the car performance? Anyone can help me wit that? it's really subjective... recently drove an uncle's old E36 and it runs fine. Great FC on the highway. Dual Climate AirCon. Leather Seats (a bit worn out). Great driving experience indeed... Servicing done at some local shop with oil and filter change cost less than RM200. what you would get from used car sales man can vary.. you may get a good one, you may not. Is RM30k for such a car worth it? Damn sure it is...

QUOTE(xDjWanNabex @ May 5 2010, 11:19 PM) Both 7 series if im not mistaken Added on May 5, 2010, 11:21 pmAbout the e36, i drove the 318, 320 and 325. Avoid the 318, quite underpowered imo. Go for at least the 320. the 325 is just awesome You don't see a lot of 320 for sale... 325 and 328 got la... Not a lot of people would want to pay for RM880 (for the 325) or RM1600 (for the 328) for road tax on such an old car. I think the 318 is fine. Underpowered yes, definitely... but still smooth on the highway. Drives at 140 very smoothly.

though of getting 325 or 328 but most of these performance cars usually are driven hard so not sure how 'strained' they are...
