QUOTE(Enclave Recruit @ Mar 25 2012, 05:23 PM) most people mod their e60 with m5 bodykit and quad exhaust i'm not gonna mod my car to look like a m5 la and im not putting the side ducts and the m5 badge. I'm just gonna leave my 530i badge.Make sure you have air ducts as well and M5 badge for complete look. Spray your wing mirrors black and korek your fog lamps then you can fool people haha. But please don't rev your engine. Because in-line 6 is not the same as a mighty V10 Its just gonna be a 530i with quad exhausts I'm thinking of m5 front end cause i find it better looking than the m sport one with fogs. of course not, my straight six doesn't sound anything like a v10 |

QUOTE(Mavik @ Mar 26 2012, 01:29 AM) I know GC Motorsports and Eurotuner here in KL does bodykit. Here are some of GC Motorsports bodykit that they provide alrighty thanks mate. Actually i just found bodykit itself for around rm1000 but they don't provide installation, i wonder if gc motorsport could install it for me? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « As an owner of the current E90 series, I would say that the key differences would be the engine, gearbox and the smaller stuff like the variable suspension tuning. Engine it makes a big difference because in terms of power, the new F30 328i offers a lot of power 245bhp at RM309k. Previously, a 325i M-sport already cost more than that and you get less power and pay a higher road tax. A lot of us current E90 series owners who went and test driven the F30, there is a heck of a difference in terms of driveability, power delivery and gear shifting. |

QUOTE(phas3r @ Mar 26 2012, 01:38 AM) a bit steep for me, i'm also a bit awkward.. euro to MYR is multiply about 4 or 5 right? its a 530i this one who driving? sit beside also good enough.....visiting germany summore. rm10-20k out easily how do you compare 330ci with golf gti? u own a gti as well? ppl say gti is faster in acceleration but top speed wise 330 on paper is considerably higher sorry forgot yours is 525i or 530i? recently test drove my uncles 2006 525i, with 19", bodykit, quad exhausts etc.. too bumpy.. the car is spacious though. but didn't drive it fast so cant comment much i had a look at the F30 too. i am disappointed of the interior. quite dull. the exterior is very nice in my opinion. bumpy huh? maybe it has m sport suspension or after market suspension? QUOTE(BMW fanatic @ Mar 27 2012, 08:30 AM) Some latest news: O_OBMW Recalls All 2003-2010 5-Series and 6-Series We not usually cover automotive recalls on Autoviva. There is always a recall going on, and they do not necessarily point to a car's overall quality. However, this is a big one. BMW is recalling all 2003 to 2010 5-series and 6-series cars due to the incorrect mounting of the battery cable cover in the trunk. The recall affects about 1.3 million cars worldwide. If this problem is left unfixed, it can cause electrical system malfunctions, the car not starting and the possibility of fires. Although, BMW claims that it knows of no examples of anyone being injured because of the problem. BMW will contact owners by mail soon, and they can bring the car in for free service for the recall. Source: Autoviva are malaysian 5 series going to be recalled? |

QUOTE(Claire Farron @ Apr 2 2012, 01:50 PM) dayum the e60 gotta be the most beautiful BMW ever created aww thank you the f10 seems like a step back in terms of design imo, especially the headlamps design the f10 is alright but i kinda don't really like how it looks a bit like a big 3 series nowadays but i think it will grow on most people. edit: just read your post again and saw that you meant all e60's in general This post has been edited by Johan-N: Apr 2 2012, 02:01 PM |

QUOTE(mois @ Apr 2 2012, 02:10 PM) I like your car bro very clean. Wax frequently? Where do you service ur car and how much is the cost? If not mistaken regular service should be around rm800-1200 for 15km interval right? thank you bro, yeah i wax it quite frequently. Every 2 weeks or so and after every wash i'd apply some spray on carnuba wax Im eye-ing on the new f30 320d. But probably waiting for better specs. I think you should upgrade to f10! kinda sexay I service it at various places but i recommend chu seng and yep around there f30 eh looking at the f30 335i This post has been edited by Johan-N: Apr 2 2012, 02:16 PM |

QUOTE(mois @ Apr 2 2012, 02:31 PM) But CBU built quality is better. Just the downside the spec way too basic. I saw one alpina white f30 320d in kuching 2 days ago. But the colour is not appealing as white e90. But damn the headlight is attractive in its own way just like the audis. I'm a 6 pot lover, sure the 4 pot in performance wise is just a tiny bit slower but it lacks the orgasmic sound the 6 potters make. Plus the 335i is better for future tuning Any idea why modern lines arent brought in? I like modern line for its beige interior and clean design. Added on April 2, 2012, 2:36 pm I still young so prefer f30 F30 335 vs 328i actually not much difference i guess. I saw the comparision in youtube videos on the acceleration from 0-150km/h. Only few seconds difference so i think not worth the extra price tag eh. New 6series has serious look too. One fella in bmwclubmalaysia bought it and it is realy gorgeous! |

QUOTE(tishaban @ Apr 2 2012, 10:05 PM) Very true about the sound, but the 335i doesn't sound as good as the older 330i. Whatever they did with the direct injection and turbo killed the orgasmic sound somewhat. I used to downshift to 4 on the highway just to keep at 4-5k rpm to listen to the lovely sound yeah, well what to do. BMW had to use turbo'si will forever love the sound of a straight-six naturally aspirated engine. I actually prefer the sound of the e46 m3's s54 engine to the newer e90/e92 v8 m3 but that been said i prefer the v8 in the e92 m3 over the new v8 twin turbo in the f10 m5. There's nothing better sounding than a Naturally Aspirated engine |

QUOTE(hurricane21 @ Apr 27 2012, 09:33 PM) hmm... you know old man's thinking, he never trust computer, he even use 555 notebooks to note down everything. for me i can't live without the Idrive and if i look for a E90 it MUST have an idrive, the dash looks so normal without the idrive There's nothing wrong with a few gadgets to play with, plus with idrive screen stuff like PDC will be shown on screen making it easier for your old man to park |

QUOTE(NahseK312 @ Apr 30 2012, 01:42 PM) Hi guys, how much does it cost to maintain a z4, the hardtop convertible with idrive models? Also, any ideas y its not so popular here? The car looks awesome!!And the engine (courtesy of youtube) practically growls! it varies, which exact one are you talking about? which engine etc?Its not that popular due to its price and practicality, and probably most people with money that are looking for a coupe go for something else. Actually most BMW's have really superb engine sounds, rev happy straight-six engines |
