QUOTE(OC4/3 @ Nov 21 2011, 08:31 PM) Now 335I engine issue had been rectified(High Pressure Fuel Pump,Oil Cooler) 330I is not here nor there mar Pay the roadtax but don't get 335I performance Besides,335I can easily do 300hp++ Its actually a matter of taste For me i'm a NA lover and Turbo's are don't get me wrong Turbo's are great but i don't know i just like the feel of NA. The smoothness etc the standard 3 litre engine can be tuned to make 280+ or in some cases even more with just a few mods the 335i can easily do 380hp if im not mistaken just by upping the boost This post has been edited by Johan-N: Nov 21 2011, 08:35 PM

QUOTE(OC4/3 @ Nov 23 2011, 05:50 PM) Really skeptical about so many headroom being left for modding from BMW better intake, ITB's, stroker kit are some of the things that can be done to the engine to gain more HP, natural aspirated horsepower that is well i read BMW's article on why the new engine was made and apparently the design is similar to to that of the s52 engine of which is in the m3 they share the same crankshaft and few other parts, i'm still reading it

The time to change my tires is fast approaching and to change all 4 tires with new runflats would be pricey, so guys any of you using standard tires(non rft) on your car? tires are front 235/40zr18 rear 245/40r18

QUOTE(xtracooljustin @ Nov 24 2011, 03:52 PM) Used to run 245/40/R18 (front) 265/35/R18 (rear) when I was on Alpina staggered wheels on my E34 2 yrs back. Not cheap. Firenza total RM2500. so how drastic was the change when u switched to normal tires, in terms of comfort and road noise?

QUOTE(daedalus @ Nov 27 2011, 08:39 AM) have they not solved the HPFP issues with the N54 in the 335i? If I'm not mistaken, the LCI 335i are all using the N55 instead of the N54 ran with the LCI 335i during the last innovation days, almost no turbo lag whilst the pre LCI 335i the lag was quite noticeable which ride do you have? I've got a pre LCI e90 330i, thinkin of taking the F10 535i, but am concerned bout the EPS steering, apparently it's lost the feel of the wheel =( Added on November 27, 2011, 8:41 amgood call! i threw out my RFTs for mich PS3s and they ride a lot better! hmm i'm pretty sure they have solved the hpfp issues. hmmm it seems the 528i is the last 3 liter naturally aspirated engine they provide in the f10 anyway i have a e60 530i

Changed my 5iver's tires not to long ago to Dunlop sport LM703 tires filled with Nitrogen 235/40r18 front 245/45r18 rear car has done almost 900km ( to and fro pg-kl ) and even tried a little "fast" driving on windy mountain roads and i come to report that they are really worth it. The grip is excellent and the grip in the rain is good Ditched the original Run flat tires for this lm703 and i have no regrets or at least so far shop quoted me rm1.8k for ONE RFT tire, changed all my tires with lm703 for only rm2.7k This post has been edited by Johan-N: Jan 23 2012, 10:14 PM
