Realize some problem with the radio system on the 320i Year 2013 model.
It auto reboot by itself. Can't determine the problem. Send to the workshop and the tech can't diagnose the problem as well.
Anybody faces similar problems?

I drive a 525i '04 (M54B25 Engine). Touch wood but never had any issues.

An 06' comes with N52 Engine which I heard has a lot of engine oil leak problems. (N52 users please don't stone me and do correct me. This is just what I have been hearing from quite a lot of owners) Other than that, everything else is fine so long as you properly inspect the car before purchase.

A good place to go is German Motors, Sec 13, PJ. A proper diagnostics test will cost you around RM250.

All the best and enjoy your hunt smile.gif

Just saw your thread, hope the responses are still relevant for you.

1) All BMW cars only have 2 years warranty. No idea why it is only kept at 2 years. I guess they do offset it with the so called BSRI.
2) No way unless you specifically go to all of the dealers and ask which RFT tyres they provide with the new car
3) The interest rate would be quite competitive especially with BMW Credit. I am not too sure if they offer a 9 year loan though.
4) Heard that the 320i has a long waiting list, not much discounts offered. Probably better at the end of the year.
*
yup,now it is year end, 320d/i/M sport, 328i M Sport all have good discount - roughly RSP - 20k. I think quite good value. Was just told that BMW credit only gives loan up to 7 years - longer than that have to go to other banks and try - For @cybermaster98 's info too. Was there viewing the 4 series coupe - imported from Germany , very tempting model but since it is the latest model - no discount at all.

Planning to get E92. It's been discontinued and heading to 4series.

My family hasn't bought a BMW before. All the while is just a big fan of Mercedes. I'm the opposite.

Many ppl try to wash my mind that BMW is problematic than a Mercedes. Now it's kinda pull me back.

I need opinion.

For new F30, I won't go for it. I would prefer a 5-8years E92 after looking it up online.

Pls... Anyone driving e92 or e90, tell me your experience.

For me, petrol consuming doesn't a problem cuz I can claim it all to my company.

Which E92 version are you looking to buy?

E92 320i, 325i, 335i or M3?

Each has their pros and cons

325i. any problem with that?
335i 3000cc roadtax too expensive. M3 4000cc is even more.

my house has one 3500cc, 4kplus road tax, its painful. So i would go for 2500 cc.

I see, well there shouldn't be much problems with the 325i. The usual issues with the E9x series is either the AC compressor pump dying out or the ABS pump. Both of these costs a few thousand dollars.

Omg. I have been driving family car all this while.

Really wanna get a nice dream car for myself.

Was surveying e92. A few manufactured 2007. I told my dad, he said it's too old, it's 7-8years car. Many problems. So it pulled me back. But I can only afford below rm150k.

What should I do??

Wait?? Actually I was gonna tender for BMW selangor plate. It would be a milestone for me.

But I heard there would be a lot ppl going for it.

If you are really adamant about getting a BMW, I would suggest if you could slowly search through the 2nd hand dealers to find one that is in good condition. There are a number of gems out there which might just fit within your budget.

Got 328i msport d? 3 months ago drop my car for service then kepoh with SA. He said currently is only 320d and 320i got msport.

I really want the msport kit. In order for me to get the m performance kit, I need to install msport first. But original it's around rm10,000. Tbh I kind of butthurt knowing Msia road conditions. Then I need fork another rm15k for m performance kit. Price last checked 4 months ago.

Mine is Melbourne red, so far I didn't see a red msport or m performance kit hahahaa

Bro, bmw 5 years and above most of the time will have gear problem or oil pump problem.
Theses two problems is very common.
Even my friend's dad has brand new e60, but 4 years later still oil pump problem and gear a bit like jerking.
I also worried about my F30 blink.gif .
