I'm thinking of m5 front end cause i find it better looking than the m sport one with fogs.
of course not,  my straight six doesn't sound anything like a v10   but then again i see so many people get fooled by fake m5's    i can tell by the exhaust note its just a normal 520i 

Was kinda disappointed with the latest 3 Series. Looks more like facelift rather than a new generation model. Yes has a new gb and slightly more rear legroom but both front and rear seats still cramped. Doesnt really have a wow factor maybe cuz its soo similar to the current 3 series.

Yeah, that family member owned an e90 320i, and he said the handling and driving experience totally blew the last gen out of water. 

I was there too actually but i didnt drive it, just sat on the back seat and i can say the leg room is freakin huge, bigger than an audi A4 and totally bigger than last gen 3 series. And it feels a little bit more comfy than e90 when car is cruising on highway 

Interior design for the 320d is nice as well, can choose either black or beige or the interior, but on the downside there's no sat nav for the i Drive and no Heads Up Display.

I'm still waiting for someone else here who had booked 320d, i want to know when will you be getting the car 

Well, i have to agree with the cabin space both driver and passenger is bigger compared e90, however some dont think lol..

didnt managed to test drive as Quill didnt have 320d test car. Maybe next week i will go ingress to book a test drive for both 320d and 328i sports trim.

I quite like the interior trims, especially the sports red and carbon of 328i sports.

Perhaps u can go BMW club Malaysia Forum and ask if anyone placed order for 320d. They have a dedicated F30 section and more bimmers there

Really ? probably because those people are over 6 foot tall or something, i'm 5'11 and i think the leg room is more than enough for me.
or maybe those people are too used to large cars like s class or 7 series leg room 

even the f30's front passenger and driver seat feels more wider than e90

I think he didn't compare the E46 330i against the Golf GTI but you're absolutely right that the E46 330i is far off from beating a Golf GTI. I would say, it's no where near the speed of the Golf GTI The Golf GTI is a very fast car due to the DSG gearbox and even the E92 335i can't smoke it off (both is quite comparable depending on how you drive)

Honestly, this is always very subjective The reason why I'm saying so is because there are various possibilities on how we compare and term "faster". I also never agree on statements like "I own both Accord 2.4 and Camry 2.4 at home. I can tell you the Accord 2.4 is faster". Common sense, how can we determine which one is faster even if we owned both? Unless we can split ourselves into two and drive both cars at the same time, there's no way to tell except butt dyno and psychology, lol.

If you ask a equally skilled driver with these 2 cars racing with each other, I can tell you it's really comparable. There's no such thing as E92 335i is ALWAYS faster because gear shifts is better on the DSG but the 335i has more raw power. If it's a drag race then yes, the BMW E92 335i.

One of my family member is planning on buying the f30 320d too, he already booked for the CBU unit, but after long consideration he finally decided to wait for CKD instead, due to better specs and maybe a bit cheaper price.

I'm actually quite okay with the CBU f30 320d spec, but one thing i cannot stand are those cheap looking 17" rims 

Really the difference is that huge ? What stuffs from the e90 320d that werent in the f30 320d ? only navigation right ?   

Hi guys, i'm considering the preowned 320d e90 & would like to seek confirmation if fuel consumption for city drive is really as claimed, 6.5l/100km? My current 2010  accord is 11l/100km..almost double! Of course, i keep a decent pattern of <3k rpm with 50-50 city/hiway.

I'm a 6 pot lover, sure the 4 pot in performance wise is just a tiny bit slower but it lacks the orgasmic sound the 6 potters make. Plus the 335i is better for  future tuning 

Any recommended Sales person to get a good deal of a preowned e90 320d? Also, what should i watch out for?

BMW Sports edition cars are not meant for KL roads (because of pot holes) so not to mention Taman Negara, lol. I can understand how bad it becomes when we hit a deep hole. 19" is really for the aesthetics and if our roads are better, I would've went for a 20"

Powerkit must be fun so please share your experience with it after you fix it.

I think after you install the power kit, you can also add in a piggy back or re-map it for more horses and torque. The good thing about diesel is the high torque it produces.

That's interesting Normally a proper re-map should still be possible because the standard maps can be improved to individual vehicle.
