hi guys...need help here on planning a trip to perhentian..will it be too late for me to book if i'm going around 20ish august???any suggestions??

just came back from redang yesterday..stayed at Pelangi beach resort..it was OK..the place is OK but the facilities could be improve..but i'm kinda disappointed with the food menu..sort of expecting a seafood menu but instead its just a normal fried menu..the bar at night is not really happening..i ended up partying at redang beach resort..

Yes..right..the problem with their Menu..not provide Sea Food Menu ..Reef,Pelangi and Bay..are same Menu..

Can I go to Redang/ Perhentian in September after Raya? Is it Monsoon?

Yes..you can visit Redang and Perhentian Island after Raya...my advise..please make booking now to avoid fully booked.

Monsoon season will start from November till February or early March...

Hi Samurai, myself and my gf would like to travel down to Redang on 21-23 August, is it possible for me to stay in Laguna with a budget around RM500 per person? You can exclude all outdoor activities (even meals) cause I'm not keen into it. Please advise.

21st August till 23rd August are School Holiday..(Have surcharge for school holiday RM40 per night per person x 2 night)

Minimum rental room only RM500 per night ( Deluxe Garden Room )...Return Ferry transfer RM100 per person.and RM180 school holiday surcharge ...total cost RM1380 without meals and activity.

But if you take the package..RM548 per person for twin sharing x 2 adult = RM1096 + RM180 ( School Holiday surcharge )..total RM1276..will include meals ,accommodation and ferry transfer..Its much cheaper take the package..

trust me, take with the snorkeling package is better than you book the room itself...

Agree with Samurai & juniorkirk Only accommodation its always expensive than package attach in Redang Island....if u just perfer accommodation stay maybe u can choose Lang Tengah & Perhentian island. The room rate its much cheapest compare to Redang with nice accommodation stay......PM me ur email if interested

Hie guys, i'm planning a trip for 4 to perhentian again. Travel period is during oct 16- 19. Thing is, is it advisable to travel there during that time? Cos i read that monsoon begins around october.. Please advice as i have to book my air ticket asap.
