i feed them with radiccio, frenchbeans, romaine, sawi leaves, watercrest, and some broad leaf green veg..
i always try to give the watercrest because it contains high fibre...
sometimes, i would sprinkle finely chopped hay to their diet..

just changed the substrate.. also, i took out the hiding box coz they never once hide inside..

i use artificial plants (boston fern) because i like them and also for them to hide underneath it if they feel like it...
theres a water bowl on the right but im not sure they drink from it.. but they do soak themselves in it if i did not soak them for 2 days..
i normally soak them so that they will poo and pee thus making the enclosure cleaner..

About 24" Male and about 8 yrs with me - got him as an ex-pet at maybe 2 yrs old !!
Weight over 30kg

SO maybe he is about 10 plus minus .

Sire-d at least 300 hatchlings this few years and still going strong !!

Cheers

Bolded part. Thats part of the story. I know such a great monster must have stories to tell. And special characteristics as well. I was hoping u could tell more about him notworthy.gif

Depending on many factors ?
- health of new box-mate
- size differences
- size of box

Cheers

Hello sifu,

-New box-mate is newly born and healty (eating like a baby, all the time)
-My little Egyptian is about 8-9 centimeter from tail to head approximately.
-Box is around 85x50 centimeter. But my current tortoise don't like being in the box, he will be scraping the sand to ask people to put him in the living room. Quite friendly, know to approach my mom foot if he is feeling hungry sweat.gif
