with rm2340 i can upgrade my desktop to GTX480 already..
but then i need somthing 4me to move around with work..autocad and sketchup... ;[

Cleaning driver and reinstall the graphic latest driver does help alot in the auto graphic switcher. that even solved my dota prob as well!
Btw now i encountered a new problem that my function key (Fn) is not working with adjusting the Volume, On/off touch pad already... but its weird that the function key still work with adjusting the graphic... i wondering is that because i deleted those Asus software...
Note: I did try to install the touch pad and keyboard driver for windows 64bit but it doesn't work... btw i'm using winds 7 64bit and my pc is A52jc

You need to install ATK driver for Fn....

WOw thanks alot it really helps for "Mute,LCD,Volume.. but turning off mouse pad still shows no respond...

guys i have buy a new laptop it is asus a42jv but the problem is now when i do check online spec to play game the result is disappointed me... it mention that my graphic card is not supported... because it use intel hd not nvidia geforce gt335m... when using the cpuz application & also dxdiag same spec is shown... how to settle up this confusion??? (p/s in the task bar there are both intel + nvidia application or software install)

crap... after tried installing the driver for 258.96, my system just crashed whenever windows startup...

end up i have to do system restore 2 times... means 2 restore points earlier...only then i don't face issue... otherwise, whenever i tried to click on nvidia control panel...sure hang....

cause after i updated last time, it had a black screen for quite a while when logging in windows but turned normal after a bit

hmmm...black screen a while...i recall this happening....but how long is the black screen? i end up force shut down after the black screen cause i see no activity at all on hard disk....

and no... after masuk windows...destop view....then you can see ur mouse cursor...and after that just freeze..cannot move at all....

actually asus's official website does not recommend the latest driver from nvidia...it's 257.xx version...

i face problem with asus A52JC when gaming
after i play for 30min then it start to lag and bcome more lag until everythin start to freeze

at first i thought it was temperature problem
but it is not
coz after i quit n re-enter the game , everythin went smooth and perfect

so izzit the memory problem ?
i have 4 gb memory
or wat its problem ?

first 30 min will be perfect and no prob
but after that it getting worst n worst

I think it's quite similar to mine... I was actually quite nervous for a while and ctrl+alt+del... then after a while the task manager came out and it was normal again.. something like that lar.. dun quite remember

i think this machine is very2 not suitable for games...
but i am afraid to do 3Dmax and sketchup7 on it..[yet to be applied]
i hope after upgrading to 4g ram it can be ok.
or else i have to spend rm800++ for 8g ram.

I think 4gb is more than sufficient...
Ur graphic applications need to use 3gb+ memory meh?
