Where do u guys buy ori games here in MY... I'm not local so I'm not familiar as to where and how much it cost. Back home usually cost like RM100 for BF3... And about another 110 for the BF3 premium add on...

Here, it's rather expensive to be honest. Expect the price ranging from RM200-300 for top titles. Actually, there is one potentially awesome seller here in lowyat.net itself. Try to look out for Impulse Megastore. They sell PC PS3 games etc. Bought Diablo 3 from him before.

Thanks for the info bro!... seems that i have to wait till i go back home to get one then. I go back every month anyway so in a way i can save up to half the price. smile.gif

Hey Rhoel, long time no see.  biggrin.gif How's Windows 8 so far? Mine's having few problems, such as opened windows changes in size on its own and USB 3.0 not working as intended.  cry.gif
*
hi bro,

no issues so far though sometimes having problems with USB (isolated cases)...i seldom use the USB so yeah...i can live with it biggrin.gif

Oh that's good for you. My issue with USB 3.0 is a universal problem with Windows 8 entirely, just checked on an intel thread. The problem is mentioned here in another thread btw. Glad you love it. Best part bout Windows 8 is the startup & shutdown times. It's so much faster than Windows 7.  biggrin.gif

no problem with my USB 3.0

Does anyone here have this particular model? http://www.sony.com.my/product/svs13a36pg

If so, what are your thoughts on it? It seems really good specs-wise, as an excellent combo of portability and power, but I'd like to know how it performs in real life.
*
i guess most are using the previous model...

power and portability...yup. best of both worlds in a way...

no regrets with my S13P so far...

omg, this thread is so dead, gues nowadays people did lost interest in laptop/pc already. all opt to tablet i assumed hmm.gif

No Lah...i guess everyone is just busy working or studying...

anyway, I plug in my notebook all the time...sometimes even leave it plugged in for 3 days... battery will eventually be worn out as it wasn't design to last forever...non-removable battery doesn't really mean non-replaceable. For me, its a matter of acquiring something and loving it and never looking back and never look for more... tongue.gif the best thing there is, is what we can afford wink.gif

Am thinking of getting the S series 13" with 750gb HDD and nvidia GT640 GC. is this a good balance for work and playing games?

does it get hot?
*
i seldom do games... but i am pretty much satisfied with my S13P. no overheating issue even if I do rendering on my notebook nod.gif

vaio S owners...

i've upgraded to windows 8 months back... seems that whenever i do some benchmarking (i use Autodesk Revit) it seems that it only detects the intel graphics and not my Nvidia... WEI scores also uses intel and not Nvidia... even i set it Nvidia as my priority and turn on hybrid (Speed) mode...it still uses my intel card.... sad.gif
