just check you computer/system specs in vaio care....

then see current bios...

what i did was...since the stock bios that came with my notebook is not the same as the updated one... I updated it first to the current by downloading it from the sony support site...

then run the bios update (make sure u got enough battery or better yet plug in ur notebook)...then after updating to the latest...download the all the flash that is there available...and start flashing...lol

im currently using the 975/1100...lol

you see the BIOS...

check yours if its the same...if not...i believe you need to get it from here...

just make sure you are using the correct windows version...the premium is in win 7 pro...

suddenly gone quiet...busy?

no ssd yet...maybe a few months time...i don't think 512 would be enough for me...haha! but then again...i dont have enough money yet for the upgrade... i've bought a crumpler sleeve to carry my notebook around. still on the look out for a slim and light weight bag that will fit the notebook with the power brick and wires... too bad the thinktank is just a few cm short...would have been my first choice...

hmmm... thats why if ever i would change to ssd...i would just clone my existing...dont want to risk problems to arise. since i've already removed some items that i dont like from the base pre-installed programs... though, boot up time on my S13 is still ok using the stock installation with the stock hdd... average 50 sec boot time is not an issue for me... though of course opening apps would be a diff story...

im also looking to get some skin for the lid...the guys on the selling thread seems not to be responding

check vaio control center and enable the feature...

wow... must be a lemon. mine got lots of software already installed... still stock hdd boots up at average 35 sec.... claim for warranty woh.

well...looking at the bright side...thats security for us! its a good thing cos if someone stole our stuff...and try to get it for service, we still got chance...

i got mine registered the day after i bought...

czone digital mall around 210... but i saw in cycom pricelist in lowyat around 180+... too bad i already got one when i saw it. though, digital mall is nearer to my place (can walk) .... almost same if i compute the petrol+parking going KL...

anyway...just upgraded to a 256gb crucial m4...(unplanned upgrade)...damn acrobat upgrade mess up my registry...cant even do system restore... would have done recovery but i got lots of data that if i need to transfer from one HDD to my external it would take a some time...no choice but to buy an ssd and install using the recovery drive that i've previously created...

great performance...its just that i wanted to get the 512...but since not planned, i have to settle with the 256 for now...maybe later on, i will remove the ODD and use a caddy and slap a 512 for my data disk... all my apps installed and still got plenty of room but all my data i now keep for the mean time on an external drive...specially all those raw image files from my cam...

wow...thats something!

i did open up my s13 on my last flight last month..watched 2 movies the whole duration...no problem. hope it wont occur on mine as i also use it for my work....

i usually use whole day plugged in... but battery care is set to 80%...
