ya, i was amazed that the quality is so much alike to my LX-3 when i see the actual pictures...i suspected they used some DSLR and drop quality + bump ISO to get some noise and claim is N8's shot..but i guess it's possible with the large sensor...

honestly, if u ask me, this one is even better then most point and shot camera out there, somemore aperture is 2.8, can get dim environment shots also

no la, 7.1 channel hd audio is quite common nowaday, so many mid-range motherboard have build in audio chipset witch support that.

actually i do agree on the fact that is has no camera cover, and it's a bad news...i tot camera phone should have a lens cover...after all, what's attracting me to this phone right now is the camera, if it's that exposed, i think it's not that wise...

Added on April 29, 2010, 11:09 pmto be honest, this aint the first time it cheats users with beautiful effects on promo videos...n97 for the recent example, watch the demo again, and hand on a unit, u will see that there are no such fancy theme effects on the actual n97...nokia been misleading, and some might call, cheating on consumers to get more sales...so, even if that's the case, i wont be surprised

BTW, my vivaz apperture also 2.8mm... but only 8.1MP ...Well atleast I'm happy wth the camera & video but not the GPS..

and some ppl go on saying "whats important is the photo quality output bla bla" i would wanna see the godlike photo quality if u have heavily scratched lens

and dun come stating at me "owh u need to be more carefull thn",sometimes ppl tend to make mistakes

but in low light environment, the LED flash on vivaz still cant help much.

i think there's once this heavily publicized case of SE faking photo shoots for a phone model,if im not mistaken its K800 or K810

Well..touch wood, so far..the so called stracth resistant Sony glass lens is OK..haha

of course is user's responsibility to protect that also...some users can use 1 year and never gotten any scratch on their lens that's without cover one...don play play....

but i been thinking....i got LX-3 liao..still need such overkilling camera??

see la, if price is like N97 when launched, this phone might just success...anything more expensive then that might scare away most buyers...
and if it's below 2k, i might just buy it..haha

but need to see apps availability also...

With such high expectations from much people for the n8 if kena "cheated" again i'm sure Nokia won't last any longer.

but the k800 case is realy ,3mp camera can get digital camera quality almost same with the photo u posted

regarding symbian...jz hope nokia polish it out b4 releasing,dn wn another case of n97 jz released

It maybe possible thou , Technology is advancing each and everyday and moreover , remember the Nokia CEO or something said that 1 day cameraphones will replace DSLRs (That could be possible too. IMO)
