Becos of this thread I learnt of new term..Symbian^1 = S60R5 & the Symbian^3 is the latest..suprisingly they jumped i level ..No such thing as Symbian^2!

Anyway, The most important thing about this latest symbian..is will it able to support Garmin MXT? Symbian^1 already having abit of problem wth the "smbol key" bugs & now Garmin no longer support any other platform except their nuvi phone..haizzz.

On the battery, I think currently lotsa phone company now switching to Li-po battery rather than li-ion, From my googling, Li-po battery have higher discharge rate compare to li-ion..

So the same cap on lipo probably last longer than li-ion....just my 2 sen

But if this really an inbuilt battery...cham liao wor...

U must be joking on the route error, less POis & not update maps by ovimaps..If u are real into GPS..ovimaps using navteq is a joke!! try checking the detal in Puchong area & compare this wth malfreemaps either in garmin or papago format biggrin.gif

QUOTE(zero_kbom @ Apr 28 2010, 06:23 PM)
Maybe can install...as Symbian^3 maintain legacy app support whilst providing new tools to develop app (QT)
On the other hand, either it will be usable without any bug what so ever......we can only hope rolleyes.gif

But to be honest, I rarely used my Garmin anymore, Ovi Maps just simply awesome thumbup.gif

Well once u use Garmin or even papago maps wth malfreemaps...ovimaps detail really hopeless..It's a nice software but without the support from the most updated GPS maps in malaysia, it is useless...

Try searching for Yap Chuan Bah Kut teh or even any nearby clinic or food court around your place using ovimaps.. smile.gif Or check for PFCC or 100yen shop in ovimaps, can you find it? or address search can you search using keyword rather than typing the whole exact jalan?

Anyway just hope this Symbian^3 able to install Garmin lah bcos this probably my nxt upgrade after SE Vivaz...currently having the best HD quality video in the market & soon this N6 probably pawned Vivaz liao biggrin.gif

QUOTE(nicholasbeh @ Apr 28 2010, 07:14 PM)
but i didnt face any problem for ovi maps.its really nice for me.

Added on April 28, 2010, 7:16 pmis it support touch focus btw?

QUOTE(nicholasbeh @ Apr 28 2010, 07:23 PM)

It will be nicer...imagine you focus & ask that huy to smile & the camera auto capture it..cooll...and on panorama mode..you snap one picture the screen will guide you on 2nd snapshot and once u got the allighnement correct auto snap..cool...
Check out this auto alligned shooting on Vivaz i taken on Saturday at Tropicana mall:

Don't discount capability of the camera phone picture quality & video quality..The best phone pic quality nowadays almost similar to any mid-hi-en point & shoot camera liao & the video quality really a shot to me!! Just cheak those amateur shooting by Vivaz users in Youtube,,,So it might not be a suprise one day..a DSLR quality by camera phone..Nokia CEO already boosting about this liao..

I think 1-2 years ago that Nokia did plan to invent bigger sensor for their 12MP with some help of Carl Zeiss company. And they did! smile.gif
