can anyone access ovi store now? it asks me to update my n900 to enter the store..

i could access it this morning trying to do a transaction but cc failed to go through

What i meant was out of 5 reboots, 3 was having the "haywire" effect. Each time the problem arose, it will continue until finish rebooting.
From my observation, it's just the scrolling bar bug issue. I googled around and it seems that this bug do happen to unlucky users using tthe FOTA update. Very odd indeed. I too was curious whether it had any performance effect. I even had my N900 overclocked to 900Mhz. Opened up to 15 apps simultaneously but no drop in performance was noted. I also played with Sygic GPS and DL some mp3 using wifi, still no problem risen.

As for me, an annoyance will be always be an annoyance. So i decided to manually flash my N900 firmware + emmc. For the sake of science, after finished flashing, did continuous x20 reboots. The scrolling bar "haywire" was never seen again.

My advice...? As i stated above, i don't like to see something "not right" with my beloved phone, so reflash was the only way out. You can leave it as it is as i experience nothing bad about it.

Huhu ok, thatnks for the information. i think will wait for next firmware update then will see if the problem still persist, maybe will do manually update or NSU. Thanks a lot it help

hmm.. i don't think  i get the bad set of device, before i update pr 1.2 my n900 seem ok only when i updated it become like this but the bug not really bodering me because not only me have the problem when update using OTA, if i update using manual then it should be ok, anyway this is zitron set and still have 11 month warranty 

hmm.. u can go nokia service centre to ask them to update for u for  FREE if ure free enough

make sure u backup all your data before giving them to flash.

thx for the advice, btw i did say i will consider doesn't mean i will go, i want to see n check if the bug effect the device and there is a lot of other problem and bugs need to look for solving such as virSMS, phone did not auto rotate after the phone on vertical post. and virtual SMS sometime not funtion

nope mine havent had that issue yet
