I'm using a telekom adsl modem which the model is Triz TZ3200c.
ok... I want to port forwading. I can't find any guide on the internet coz my modem is not listed. Anyone can guide me through the process?

I don't know anything about network, i heard tat eMule put 4242? and for the Bitt is 6881-6889??? wat is tat thing????

my emule is under firewall .. and then everytime speed is from 85kb/s to 95kb/s ... after change the port to 4242 ...

anyone having problem connecting to kad? i cant connect to kad. it works before this but suddenly not working anymore. i'm using emule 0.46a.

edit.. i can connect to kad finally... have to try few times.. sorry guys.. im a noob in emule

hey guyz ...... i usually connect 2 razorback2 .... 4 thoz general dls
but i dunno which server 2 connect 2 when i wanna search/dl chinese songs
any1 can help me out ?

Connection to razorback2 still does the fastest searches IMHO.

Just enable 'search using Unicode' when searching for chinese titles

I had loads of results!

Anyway I'm using emuleplus 0.46a, port 4242

kad is just optional... more importantly is connection to edonkey network. Choose razorback2 whenever possible. Cheers!

guys, I need ur help. I'm using eMule and I get High ID. But the problem is, i can download about 30mb per day. PC turn on for 3 days, downloaded 100++mb only. Sometimes i connected to the user, but no download rate. Is there something wrong in my setting? When I click the "test port" option, the browser opened and showed testing failed. Is it due to floating IP which means my credit lose whenever i shutdown my pc/ or lose connection due to unstable connection?

which port u were using??

you have to disconnect emule off from any server/kad network before you can do any port testing.

previously i'm using 4662 and 4663 for TCP and UDP.
but now i'm using 4242 and 4800 for both.. my download rate can reach 20++! I'm satisfied with this speed edi since i'm sharing streamyx with my housemates.

bout the test port.. it still comes out failed.

I get 100+ results from 'jay chou' search. Hmm... wierd

R u using the same edonkey client as I do? And connected to the same server?

anyone has an idea why whenever i port forward my router, the regular internet connection stops? i cant surf etc... why?

First of all, my eMule never works well, dl speed is very slow though I have High ID...but there's another problem

It causes disconnection or slow connection.
Whenever i have it running, i notice my YM oftent diconnect, and Online games will be lag or sometimes it'll get disconnected.
And the dl speed never got anywhere higher than 1kbps.....yet such things happend
My connection will be back to normal once the program is shut down

Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong here? Or such thing are normal with eMule?

BTW, i did all port fowarding, and i have nothing wrong with other program like BT.

my first emule set up gaves me slow speed. but after sometime it gets better, just like 'seasoned'. but then i never really know how fast the download can go, but my stuffs are completed very fast. when i monitor it, it seems like not moving. but when i leave it there and kept myself busy, the download seems fast. try leave it there for sometime. but the disconnection problem...no idea.

Hey guys, I need some help here. Dont know why my emule just keep on connecting after I installed 0.46a version. It just wont connect to ed2k network and kad.

And before updated to 0.46a, my 0.45a only moving not more than 10kbps 1 day, if compared to few months ago which i can always get 30-40 kbps or above.

anyone using vercd.com for emule file downloads? Recently I keep having problem getting in. Is it normal or is it my pc?

i also have the verycd problem. i think it's a problem with tmnet's transparent proxy.

I did what u guys said in the previous post...TCP 4242 n UDP remain the same(defult) and my router has config the port forwarding allow windows XP to open these port but is seems the speed is even worst and i'm still behind a firewall...what should i do?
