guys...
I've foward my port range from 0 to 65000.
basically my bit torrent can run fine, tested using BT client azureus, any port in this range including 4661 is reported to be OK.

But with OneMX (eDonkey client), I'm still getting the lowID message. Anyone knows where's the problem? The port forwarding part should be fine right?

BTW, none of my dl can start after hours of waiting

Pls help, thx.

First of all, my eMule never works well, dl speed is very slow though I have High ID...but there's another problem

It causes disconnection or slow connection.
Whenever i have it running, i notice my YM oftent diconnect, and Online games will be lag or sometimes it'll get disconnected.
And the dl speed never got anywhere higher than 1kbps.....yet such things happend
My connection will be back to normal once the program is shut down

Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong here? Or such thing are normal with eMule?

BTW, i did all port fowarding, and i have nothing wrong with other program like BT.

anyone can help?

thanks alot notworthy.gif

Is emule slow this two days...i only able to get around 10kb/s...I used to get 80s and 90s...

I notice that only obfuscated connection (with the key sign beside the user icon) can get good speed. Those without obfuscated being use will have lower speed. Upload too.

I think TmNet throttling does affect emule too, thought it can still be protected with the obfuscation feature.

Anyone facing this problem with uploading speed suddenly drop?

Upload speed are usually constant at the max limit that I set that is 22kbps. I notice after some time, the upload speed will fall to a very low speed, about 8 - 5 kbps and it will remains there for a very long time, anywhere from 30 mins to more than 1 hour, then it will be back to normal for sometime, and drops again. It'll repeat on and on for the entire day.

I've tried enabling SpeedSense, doesn't help at all. I've also tried using Connect to Obfuscated Connection only, doesn't help either.

So can anyone help me out here?

If you have high ID, then your port forwarding is all OK. Note that even if its ok, you cant guarantee to get High ID all the time. Reconnect again and again to a server to get high ID. I do that, sometimes up to 10 or more times if very unlucky, to get High ID.

But as long as you've got High ID before, your port forwarding is all OK.

Then at security, make sure u enable protocol obfuscation. Me, i take a step further by selecting only allow protocol obfuscation. that means any client that disable or dont support obfuscation will not be connected. But for those who support, you will be sending them request to enable obfuscation when u connect to them, if they didn't already enable it in their connection to you.

well, emlue u have to wait and wait and wait. you cant get high speed all the time, usually u dl awhile, the back in waiting line. and upload as much as u can to move faster in queue.

My emule now is stuck at 2-8kbps. Connection all protocol obfuscated only. Been happening for the past few weeks.

Now this is the ironic thing about TmNet. If they can break the emule protocol obfuscation, that should make them among the most advance ISP in the world, in terms of throttling their user line.

As far as service quality goes, they are still the first from the rear end.
