try searching for popular terms over in eMule (Britney/Madonna), if doesnt show up anything then you have wrongly configured eMule..
Try connecting to the Razorback2 server..

what does it say in My Info?
Do you get a High ID ?
Did you expand the tabs on your downloads and see what are your queues like in your transfers?
Have you already set nominal upload speeds for downloads to actually occur?
Do you have any greyed out smileys in your downloads?

QUOTE(aiyume @ Apr 6 2005, 07:59 PM)
i used the TCP and UDP HMMaster suggested.......but still cannot start....... sad.gif
i tried to connect to the Razorback2 server, but it said something like the server seems to be full...
then in My Info, i'm connected to a Low ID
then i dun understand the rest of your question.... sad.gif  blush.gif
what should i do now?
then in My Info, i'm connected to a Low ID <=== sweat.gif

If you are getting a LowID, there are normally 3 things that can cause that.

#1 - the inbuilt windows xp firewall (you should turn this off.)
#2 - a firewall (you should allow/open the emule ports in the firewall)
#3 - a router (you should forward the emule ports in your router). It is also recommended that you change the default ports (TCP4662 & UDP4672) in emule because our ISP blocks them ..

identify your modem here & do port forwarding on it.The ports can be any value between 1024 and 65535 But you must remember to alter the config of your firewall/router and restart emule (never use port 5000)

yup, i'm downloading the high-sourced file....btw, it works again...now the dl rate is 30++KB. i found out that it works when i disconnect the KAD and connect to server only.
if connect to both, the dl/ul will remain zero.
*
erm.. i think today there is a problem with the internet in malaysia...

KAD should get you better speeds blink.gif

have you tried checking your eMule settings ?

you cant find razorback2 is it?
under the servers tab, sort the server's priority by "files". razorback2 is the topmost server. go to http://ed2k.has.it/ to update the server list if you still cant find razorback2 on the serverlist..

if you cant connect to razorback2, try rebooting your modem so you will get a new IP.. while doing that, please make sure youre only sharing a maximum of 200 files & currently downloading < 30 files. downloading/sharing more than that will get you booted off from the server. pls be reminded that the server can also ban you if you put unnecessary strain to it by continously hit the search button on eMule.

to set your download limit to unlimited, go to options > connections , uncheck the box which restricts the download limit ..

hope this helps

disconnects? you mean throughout this month ?
always!

but if this has been happening before the big lag ( http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=144504 ), then maybe the prob lies on your modem (erm.. probably it cant handle multiple simultaneous connections .. ) or your eMule settings (try reducing the hardlimit, max connections & max new connections per 5 secs in the "Options > Connection" & "Options > Extended" menu setting)..

according to this ,Razorback only 75% full ?

try pinging/traceroute to razorback 2's IP address too...

Eh.. but you don't lose credits on successful logons to servers either.. your credits are kept by the client that you uploaded to and to help them determine your queue and not by yourself to be used.
*
correct.

but mmm ..not quite what i meant. smile.gif

Prior to logging in to a server, you dont actually lose credits.. In fact, they'll grant you some! Read here

Each action sent to the server (eg:searches, asking for sources, file infos) will cost you some credit points.. If theyre all used up, the server disconnects and sends a warning to the client that it is blacklisted. Blacklisting goes from 2 hours to 2 days if im not mistaken depending on how severe the abuse is..

Back to normal? You sure? I am still getting 0 - 10kb/s download time.  cry.gif

Razorback also keep disconnecting me even I already set my Max source=200 & Max connection=30. Why?  grumble.gif
*
#1 - try limiting the number of downloads down to 25-30 files. Having more than that will get you banned on most servers.

#2 - sharing more than 500 files is stressing servers out (Explanation here )

#3 - look in your Statistics > Transfer > Download > Session > Found sources..
having more than 3500 sources = trouble . if it happens to be above that range, i suggest you pause some of your high-sourced downloads..

#4 - do not strain the server repeatedly with your search queries.. it wouldn't hurt that much for you to wait for the results if responses were somewhat delayed..

Am getting above 40kb/s before. Then it drop to 0-10kb/s. Then last sunday it went back up to 40-50kb/s & I also thought streamyx is back online but it only last for 2 days then it drop back to 0-10kb/s.

Am so furious watching getting using my full upload limit(10kb/s) while I get noting from others.  vmad.gif

You're ALWAYS going to get the slowest part last in the ed2k network

Slowest part : A portion of a file which less people have

files sometime seem to stall at 80 to 90-ish percent because not as many sources have that last part you're looking for..

Only if you have considerable amount of sources in your file, may you blame my sig for the slow tempo of your downloads .. hehe laugh.gif

#2 - Sharing only 18 files

#3 - its below 3000 resources

hmm..
how often do you actually get your disconnects from Razorback ?

If the time interval between disconnects is an hour or two, then i believe theres still something wrong with your eMule..

if otherwise,
blame it on Streamyx.
