QUOTE(awyongcarl @ Jul 1 2010, 01:35 AM) lol I see you guys keep bashing NEX when it's not even on the rack yet - - you got a bad copy of e-p2 From what I can see is that at least NEX doesn't give shitty ISO performance at 100-400 like E-P2 - - Well of course..its m43 vs APS-C.. Let's give NEX a chance before bashing it with just merely hearsays. EDIT:- It's already on sales ka? Sorry lol my bad, well then we will see some results soon then |

it all depend on what you shoot..if your shot a scene with lot of dark shadow you should use spot metering cause otherwise it will try to lift the shadow area...nikon and canon metering do it automatically but ep2 dont..so is whether you know your camera or not.
exposure also play an important role..try using a sony nex with f5.6 and olympus with f1.4 and see who got more noise.. so noise is not about sensor alone..a lot of ppl fail to see that.. i can generate lots of noise with sony a3xx series slr..why is that? camera no good? or sensor lousy? or donno how to expose properly..same like nikon d90..u think i cannot generate ugly noise out of it? yes i can..so does it mean d90 sensor also lousy? so it depend on how you use it.. |

![]() camera: Sony A350. aperture: f7.1 shutter speed: 1/100 iso:800 100% crop ![]() camera: Sony A350. aperture: f3.5 shutter speed: 1/125 iso:800 100% crop so does it mean sony sensor not good or ..?? dpreview say...http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonynex5nex3/page6.asp "The NEX produces results very that match the Canon very closely, showing similar amounts of noise and detail all across the ISO range (though with slightly lower chroma noise at the very highest settings). Although its images have slightly less noise than the smaller sensored Olympus, its images don't appear to have much more detail - so although its performance is very good, it doesn't stand out massively from its peers." so less noise or more detail is up to preference lo..
