yes need but the AF will work..

sry let me rephrase...EP2 with adapter can use any 4/3 lens with AF supported..

so yes AF will work

adapter around rm400 and the 50mm f2.0 macro is around rm1900 now

the panasonic pancake 20mm is inferior in optic quality if compare to the zuiko digital 50mm f2.0. However panasonic body can correct those problem with pancake 20mm using software. However if you use pancake using Olympus body those problem cannot be automated corrected.

Zuiko digital 50mm f2.0 is also a macro lens and the pancake is not..

and 50mm focal length also suitable for potrait ..

the only reason why i would get a pancake is because of the size... i did not buy it cause i cant justify buying the pancake when i already own the pana leica 25mm f1.4 even though this lens is bigger..but hey is a f1.4 len!!

the new gh2 is quite tempting for a bonzai slr...40fps 18MP AF faster than canon 5d mk2 ...i am quite impress..just waiting for pana to miniaturize it to the size of gf1

cause the lens optic is better...compare to the noktor which is actually a cctv lens modify to fit in m43 body

aiyo if they put the sensor in the gf2 u think got ppl buy gh2 meh,....

they also decide not to give the sensor to olympus..look like olympus is screwed....

use ep2 viewfinder..delighting u always..
