I agreed. Tested a Rm30 no brand UV filter, while you are shoot toward lights you can see a lot of reflection.
Added on October 30, 2010, 9:50 amCPL is for specific purpose, not for protection. I believe Olympus CPL will be sky price.

yeah, i was told polarizer is meant for outdoor only. the friend of mine advise not to get as olympus EP1 lens is just a small lens and unlike those other slr lenses which indeed big . moreover , hardly will get scratch since own self is using it . so he ask me don't waste money on UV . use it for something else.

Advice needed here. I will be buying an Olympus E-PL1. So far the best price I can get is :
EPL1 body+ 14-42mm kit len and the usual stuff comes with the box (battery, cable, cable, charger and etc)
Free: 1 extra original battery, 1 camera bag (ori)+ 1 x4G SD card (Class 4) for RM2099
Is this the best deal?
Also thinking of getting the while body camera. Is it advisable? Would it be difficult to clean when it gets dirty?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

QUOTE(dixonjasa @ Nov 1 2010, 11:33 AM) i would say both... although there's dirt, I can wipe off easily too.... But its easily to see dirt on white stuff... if U want to be lazy (don't want to wipe), and it still look new, black color is easier to take care.

Need some suggestion on ND filters. My EPL1 max shutter is 1/2000 and my portrait lens a Canon FD 50mm f1.2 L. Situation is in bright noon sunlight or at the beach and i want max bokeh/OOF for my shots at f 1.2.
Which ND filter would you think works best?
