just got my e-pl1 with 14-42mm last night... play until the partially charged bat flat...lol.. tonight will fully charge then go full force, too many things to explore as i upgrade from compact...
few noob questions: 1)the 14-42mm kit lens latest firmware is just 1.0 right? I saw olympus website show v1.1 but when i update, the software updater told me v1.0 is already latest version for lens?? 2)i can feel quite significant heat on the handle side of camera (i guess i use it for quite long, may be >30 minutes), is it normal? Added on October 21, 2010, 11:30 amanother question: I found my zoom ring is not evenly smooth throughout 14-42mm range. If not mistaken it is a little bit tighter around 25mm mark... is it defect ? Thanks This post has been edited by JetOoi: Oct 21 2010, 11:30 AM |

guy, i saw the gh2 is in preorder stage d. but want to ask the price at USA Amazon is body only 1000usd and the 14mm f2.5 or 20mm f1.7 both around 350usd.
in conversion rate, 1 body + 1 lens = rm4200; will msia pana sell at this price? do we need OIS lens to shoot video? |

Probably Msia will be cheaper. in conversion rate, 1 body + 1 lens = rm4200; will msia pana sell at this price? do we need OIS lens to shoot video? Yes, shoot video the most important is OIS. Else, people watching your video will feel dizzy |
