Frequency, really sorry your deal didnt go through. I was hoping to hear your comment on this bag.
Anyway, i just got a bagman camera bag for Rm133 http://www.bagmangear.com/productslist.asp...3ECamera%20Bags I got the large size which is 20cm Height, 16cm width. Has a compartment on one side. I added a cover/lid halfway down the other open compartment to make a 2nd compartment below. My Oly now sits on top of these compartments with the lense facing down. Now there is enough space for another 2 lenses, bat charger and an extra bat |

Has anyone tried this filter?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=360260591982 Its made by Fujiyama Japan. I bought this filter for my Oly 14-42 zoom which has a 40.5mm thread. It was darn hard looking for a branded one of this size so i had to make do with this. Just tried it and found out that if i shoot at Florescent tubes or bright windows i get internal reflection of the subject. Would anyone have a solution for this ie links to get better uv filters void of this problem? |

QUOTE(awyongcarl @ Jun 28 2010, 08:55 PM) Don't use any filter? lol hmm, food for thought The lens front element is so small that I don't think filter is necessary to protect it. Unless yours are those 77mm one then perhaps. Another fun fact though, the more expensive your lens is, the more you shouldn't use a filter. Why? Cause filter degrades your image quality. (Well imo, only the reflection I guess.) Although I have filters for 3 of my lenses (All of them are 77mm), I usually remove the filter when I'm doing a proper model photoshooting. So nutrinos, I'd suggest that you keep that filter, and remove it when you are photographing, then putting the filter back when you are done with it. Unless you know you will be photographing in a very crowded area (like events, convention etc) then keep the filter on. It shouldn't cause the internal reflection most of the time, especially indoor. On another note, i don't seem to have encountered internal reflection from my other lenses with uv filters on. But then they are B+W s. Just tested my B+W s over the Oly lense and guess what.... i'm still getting internal reflection |

QUOTE(jasonkidd_87 @ Jul 10 2010, 01:42 AM) If u want to stick leather like stickers, go for the silver but you cant do this with the white. Imho, silver color blends into the public well while White is striking, you'll have everybody coming up to you telling you how pretty that camera is |

For those who have the Oly 14-42 kit lens will probably want to replace thier rear lens cap to this one
http://cgi.ebay.com.my/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...:EOIBSA:MY:1123 I've received mine and it fits nicely. My Leica M to M43 adapter needed one and it fits nicely too with this cap Added on July 15, 2010, 11:56 amOr may be this lens hood http://cgi.ebay.com.my/New-Metal-40-5mm-Sc...=item53e270ad01 This post has been edited by nutrinos: Jul 15 2010, 11:56 AM |

With this lens a Canon EF-S 10-22mm F3.5-4.5 attached to a Canon EF to M43 adapter onto my EPL1, would this make a 20-44mm lens on the M43. Will it man focus nicely like an analogue lens? And the S rate of the EF-S, should i instead be getting a Canon EF-S to M43 mount adapter?
Would someone care to comment pls.... |

Sad, just found this, otherwise it'll make a good short wide zoom
- Focus infinity , but it can't change aperture for EOS Lens. (only use in full aperture) - Meter Exposure Functions avaible for Av mode , can also use in M mode. |

Getting the VF2 for ur epl1 is a must. I found out how useful it was after 4 mths of contemplating and finally took the plunge last week. VF2 is very useful in many ways, be it macro photo or just the casual ones. Focusing old analogue lens has been amazing with the vf2. No regrets n fully satisfied.
A camera with no viewfinder, for me it just doesnt make sense. Epl1 flash function has RC and does FP TTL too so the flashgun that best suits these requirements is the Olympus FL 36R or the bigger 50R. Just my 2 cents for those looking to get an epl1 |
