QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Nov 4 2010, 08:08 PM) But I am using a E-P2. Kinda regret though. Over here in Australia, E-P2 cost about AUD1400 when I came here. And Leica X1 is just AUD2100. Regret getting my E-P2 too early in Malaysia, if not I'll end up with a X1. Anyway, comparing GF1 and NEX, which 1 would be a better choice? |

Regret getting my E-P2 too early in Malaysia, if not I'll end up with a X1. GF1 have better access control + handling, good low ISO performance, more tele-range (x2 crop factor) Anyway, comparing GF1 and NEX, which 1 would be a better choice? The current lens line up for pancake is top performer than the Sony NEX E-Mount lens. NEX have lesser control and handling but smaller sizes + good high ISO performance , more wider-range (x1.5 factor) It has less impressive lens optic in terms of sharpness and IQ but very wide 3rd party adapter range (same goes to micro 4/3). In Pancake (the 20mm), Panasonic performs excellent quality :] but the price is expensive while in NEX it has average quality but the price is cheaper |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Nov 4 2010, 04:58 PM) The reason I said that is that maybe I expected too much from Panasonic (like as in not raping the reputation of GF1). Ya kind of over expectation from Panasonic ... they are going too much into 3D/HD video recording instead of just concentrate on photography. In the 43rumors site poll... 63% voted that they won't buy the GF2. That's even more hate than when the NEX was announced In the meantime (looks like its gonna be quite some time), I'll still have to lug my dslr around. Maybe Olympus can do something better in E-P3 or E-PL2 ? |

While the GH2 seems nice, the GF2 on the other hand failed. I felt that with the less buttons on my E-PL1 can be a hindrance sometimes. But with almost all major settings to be configured using touchscreen, I think that will fail.
I am going only after Olympus after this since I have the VF-2 and hopefully the future E-Px will not have built in EVF. A bit selfish haha. |

Really love the 20mm f1.7. GF2 no longer bundle 20mm f1.7, what a waste.
